Smart guy, smart comedy, without the arrogance and pretense. Love ROYP!

I could not stop laughing. I looked like a nut at the gym while listening. So glad you're back together with Mike C. The Godfather talk always keeps me in stitches. Great nuanced views as usual re Charlie Kirk. And, yes, those comedians going to Saudi, we always knew where their true politics lay anyway ... hoping none of them makes a mistake there

JL is brilliant. His commentary is so insightful. He speaks about our society heading towards the movie idiocracy with humor and extremely thoughtful analysis. I’m a huge fan!

I should have given this a 5 star review well over a year ago by now, but for anyone who somehow still hasn’t discovered this yet, it’s a worthwhile listen every time. Each episode is a great combo of laughter and enlightenment, and I love a podcast where I can be humorously entertained and learn something at the same time, whether it’s about the current state of affairs, or new-to-me pop culture references that spark new interests, or even baseball! Yes, I said baseball. Regarding JL’s societal and political takes, given that he’s roughly 22 years my senior we’re only maybe 90% aligned, but I’m always interested in that other 10% because I gain new perspective from a smart and funny individual, rather than have all my own preconceived beliefs funneled back to me. Even if I still don’t fully agree by the end, I see where he’s coming from and he always explains himself very well, so I never doubt his judgement or his character. Of course to leave out Producer Mike and his contributions on and off mic would be criminal, as he brings out the best in JL by being a person he can be open and honest with. In short, the commentary is entertaining while also firing off the listeners synapses, and that’s why I always listen, and you should too!

This gent has serious comedy chops. Super smart too. His ideas and positions are well laid out to encourage thought and discussion. Love the passion, you should run for office one day Monsieur.

J-L puts it all out there. Many know him from his excellent Trump impersonation, but Rain on Your Parade shows he’s got the good to back it up. Thoughtful, introspective, while being irreverent. Guests who’ll make you think. Definitely worth a listen!

I’m going to miss hearing J-L’s own voice and his takes on all things. This was a great podcast!

JL is the flip side of all the right wing trolls that litter the pod-scape. He’s actually funny, he’s actually smart and he actually has the betterment of ALL Americans in mind. An ivy league grad who isn’t a pompous elitist is hard to find and JL’s nuanced takes really bring true. I wish there were more compassionate, thoughtful and hilarious voices like his in our media wasteland.

JL’s skills as a comedian are probably his claim to fame. The thing is, he has a really clear perspective that makes the show insightful, smart, and prescient.

JL as himself is also a must listen comedy pod.

I just started listening and so far J.L. is hilarious he gets aggravated so quickly then goes on a rant and then comes back and apologizes then goes on another rant. I’m enjoying his podcast and I am going back and listening to old episodes. Keep up the great work! You’re doing the Lord’s work!

J-L, do it! Don’t hold anything back. We do need the fire and you have it. When they go low, knee them in the jaw! I can’t wait for the first question of every debate to turn into an hour long rain on your parade rant. At the very least keep up the great comedy and pods. Five stars!

Really good podcast, with a bit of “inside baseball” look on comedy and other content, along with societal issues and politics

This weeks episode JL broke down why Black men and POC vote for trump. Finally someone who said what I have been thinking about. Nailed it! Couldnt agree more!

The America is Done episode rant was a true gem. So on point with what’s going on. JL is hilarious in stand up as well as podcasting. Keep up the great content.

For what it’s worth (probably 1/8 of a cent), I loved the FF Jr. impression. 😆 Also, the baseball/Taylor Swift & the movie countdown episodes were enjoyable listens as well. I’d like to more countdown episodes, but I suppose I’m in the minority. 🙃

I enjoy listening to this podcast. I never miss an episode. The Guns episode was a solid 10/10 and very relatable.

Writing this free review to say that this podcast is really funny and everyone should listen to it. Maybe even show up to J-L’s shows in person too! It’s worth the price of admission.

JL’s take on the subject matter each week is top notch and a lot of times it’s so good that when I finish the audio version I’ll go to YouTube and watch the same episode to get a visual of the funniest moments (or to see what the guys are wearing) A “must listen” to your weekly podcast diet!

Everyone says they want honesty. JL delivers, an honest outtake on his career, life, movies, and whatever enters his head. He is thoughtful, funny, and has good recommendations for movies, books, and TV shows. A humerous and interesting perspective from a talented comedian.

I love this podcast because no matter how bad my depression gets, even when I’m at my absolute lowest, I’m still more optimistic about life than J-L.

As a loyal fan of MPGA, I love JL’s Trump impression. This show highlights his comic chops beyond Trump and his banter with producer Mike is really funny!

Really enjoying this podcast after following his MPGA podcast for years. Recent episodes have really had me laughing out loud and looking for more J-L Cauvin Cahn-tent all around ye olde internet.

Also, tried to rate HBF on Amazon and either I’m inept or they make it hard to find where to go. 5 stars.

This is where it’s at! I love J-L Cauvin! Love the relationship and energy between he and producer Mike C. Love the material and topics they cover. I wish this podcast produced more a week but right now it’s only one show a week. Dang it!

JL is hilarious, as ever, and Producer Mike does a great job keeping it moving along. They have a great rapport. Very funny and intelligent at the same time. Full of funny pop culture references as well.

This being a comedy podcast, I'll lead with the fact that J-L Cauvin is funny as [bleep]. That said, J-L's perspective on comedy from the sausage-making level are deep and insightful. Necessary listening for anyone curious about the comedy industry. Update: Or Ron Regan Jr enthusiasts, who I'm sure are out there.
