Want to understand how Superfund was supposed to work and how it actually works? This is for you. Want to know what links Butte Montana with the plot to overthrow the Chilean government? Inspired me to make audio
Hey, I heard this podcast and not only wanted to visit Butte, but felt compelled to pursue my own stories, ideas and curiosities. It is wonderful to hear how Nora takes a journey and brings us into the world of this small town. It’s a beautiful listening experience and an awesome show.

Educational and engaging!
Extremely educational and helpful for folks who want to learn more about Butte, its superfund history, and why Butte is special. Nora did her homework and has become an endearing, trusted teller of Butte’s tale! Well done!

Thumbs up
Good job Nora. Thanks for the spotlight. Though it spotlights more than just Butte. Living in Moab we also deal with a massive super fund of Uranium, so I appreciate it.

Not subjective
Great potential but the reporter is very closed minded politically and can’t past her biases.

Loved it!
My science teacher is having us listen to this in my environmental science class! We’ve only listened to the first episode in class, but it was really interesting, so I’m back. Can’t wait to learn more :)

My most highly recommended podcast
Impeccably researched and produced. Fabulous telling of a story everyone should hear. Devouring every episode as soon as it drops and since I couldn’t wait to learn more inspired me to read “The City That Ate Itself”.

Love it!
Great podcast! Every episode is a wonderfully told history lesson. I only wish episodes were available more often, but I understand it takes time to produce a quality product. Lived in Montana my whole life, drive through Butte a couple times a year, never stopped to explore but I will now.

It’s a beaut!
This is really interesting and entertaining. I drove by Butte about a year ago and read a Wikipedia entry to make sense of what I saw from the highway. I just finished episode two and I’m ready for more. Thanks for the deep dive. Next time I’m in that part of the world I’ll definitely heading into town.

Butte is interesting!
I love podcasts and sound quality is super important and Nora obviously knows what she’s doing because this sounds all buttery and clear. Content from the first episode is already interesting—not only for people who have roots in Montana but anyone who likes peeking into the stories of a whole community. Can’t wait for more on Butte America!
