Thanksgiving is a holiday that has always been tradition for families to come together and have a big fest giving thanks for what they may be thankful for. While the very next day some people spend the night out in front of major department stores to spend money on what they believe is a day/weekend to capitalize on the biggest sales of the year! The question at hand is do people really know why or should they be celebrating Thanksgiving and the nation going out and spending billions of dollars on Black Friday! Shouldn't families come together more frequently and have a fest  giving thanks rather than glorifying it to one day of the year, as well as spending their hard earned money on just one day/weekend for materialism.
