In 1980, or 1982, or maybe even 1984, the wonderfully odd little movie, The Gods Must Be Crazy, was born. Since then, it has simultaneously confused and cracked up those who watch it, including us. The Gods Must Be Crazy follows the adventure of Ki, an African Bushman who slowly, and hilariously, discovers the civilized world. Well, we most certainly took our time, and now we are taking our chances with the 1982 classic Rocky III, starring Sylvester Stallone, Carl Weathers, and Mr. T. Thank you so much for bearing with us on our brief hiatus, and we are planning on uploading more regularly going forward. After all, when we are at home may as well watch some movies, right! Rocky III was perfect to get back on the street with, and we hope you enjoy. 

"The Day the Music Died" was 72 years ago this month. We saw it fitting to watch 1987's "La Bamba" to celebrate the career and too-short life of Ritchie Valens. Loads of good music (both the originals and the remakes) and a mystical back story made this a solid biopic. Our newest platform to connect with us is Instagram - follow us on reviewingpodcast. For our final episode of 2019 we Re:Viewed Robocop, the 1987 futuristic movie that spawned numerous sequels(we can't figure out why). We thoroughly enjoyed Robocop in all of it's weird, hodge-podge glory. As we leave 2019 we would like to give a sincere thank you to everyone who listens to our podcast. It has been so much fun to create, and we hope it has been as much fun to listen. Here's to an even better 2020! Enjoy.

Not "The Breakfast Club," not "Pretty in Pink," not "Sixteen Candles," it's "Some Kind of Wonderful!" While it still is John Hughes, certainly not as well known as his other classics. With Halloween rapidly approaching we decided to watch a kind of horror kind of comedy, An American Werewolf in London. We had a great but semi-confusing time watching this movie, and we are sure you will have the same feeling listening to this episode! For the first non-roadshow of Re:Viewing Season 2 we watched Predator, the 1987 Schwarzenegger movie that led to a host of remakes and adaptations including Alien vs. Predator, and many others. We are trying to establish a more regular posting schedule of having a new episode drop every Sunday night, but we may not always achieve that goal.
