Before Reverse Grid takes its own seasonal break, for the final episode of 2023 Chris & Lee take a trip back in time and delve into two classic BTCC seasons. 1995 is best remembered for seeing John Cleland secure his second BTCC Driver's championship in the Vauxhall Cavalier's swansong season, fighting off a spectacular late title challenge from Renault's Alain Menu, in a season where fellow BTCC legend Matt Neal also won the Independent's championship in his Ford Mondeo. Fast-forward two decades to 2015, which saw fellow Scot Gordon Shedden also secure his second BTCC title in a nail-biting finale, battling to the very end with season-long rival, Jason Plato. The season was also remembered for the number of driver-moves pre-season, with defending 2014 champion Colin Turkington, Jason Plato, 2013 champion Andrew Jordan and Aron Smith all serving their first seasons with new teams.
