It’s a relief in a sense to find others of like mind. Even though the outlook is not a happy one, I feel less alone in my grief and anger.

Derrick has a way of first finding, then bringing into his conversational embrace, such an amazing array of deeply committed, intelligent and powerfully empathetic people that every episode becomes a discovery of brilliant gems. I get deeply saddened and discouraged by the trajectory of our species and the horrible consequences it has on the galaxy of living beings we are meant to share this home with. And I can’t say these conversations necessarily serve as a balm on that sorrow but it makes me feel much less alone - or crazy - knowing there are such valiantly good people standing up for Nature. Derrick is doing extremely important work in giving a voice to this Resistance.
