#41: Lois and Eunice with Tania Koehler
Hey mamas! ((Just want to say quick, as you listen, you will here some overlapping. Unfortunately, my internet was lagging so there are times where it sounds like I start talking over Tania but that didn't really happen - sorry ladies!)) I'm joined by my dear friend Tania for this episode. We read through 2 Timothy 1:1-6 and discuss what we can learn from Lois and Eunice's godly example. Lois was Timothy's grandmother and Eunice was his mother. They passed down genuine faith to Timothy and it is just so encouraging to unpack this passage with Tania. We pray that this episode encourages all women in Christ. Even if you are not a mama or grandma yet, you can leave a godly legacy like these two women did with whoever the Lord has placed in your life. We love you! #38: Mothering Through Tears
Hey sweet mamas, I pray this quick episode will bring encouragement to your souls. Mothering is hard but oh so worth it. Don't quit. Don't give up. Our job/role is so important. We have children with eternal souls entrusted to us by God. He will help us. He will strengthen us. He will guide us. Paul knew how important the Gospel was and through tears and trials, he didn't give up. He continued to share the good news. Keep going mamas. Love you! #36: 5 Indications That Your Identity Is In Your Children Not God
Hey mamas! Last week I talked about feeling like a failure as a mom. Sometimes, we can feel like a failure if our identity is in our children. Paul David Tripp writes 5 indications that your identity might be in your children instead of God in his book Parenting (14 Gospel Principles That Can Radically Change Your Family). It's eye opening and encourages us to remember as mamas our identity is ONLY found in God and when we recognize that and live it out our mothering changes. IF you want to learn more about identity, go back a few episodes where I share all about identity. Love you mamas and praying for you!

#35: Feeling Like A Failure
Hey mamas! Have you ever felt like a failure? Me too. I want to encourage you to run to the Father when you do feel like a failure. Confess, tell Him the truth, that you are feeling this way and WHY. After you have done that, ask the Lord to search your heart and to reveal is this feeling based on a LIE or based on an area the Lord wants to grow you in? I LOVE YOU mamas and I'm praying for you. You aren't alone. God is faithful to reveal His truth to us. He will let us know if we are just believing lies or if it's an area we can grow in. EVEN THEN - we are not "failures." We are imperfect moms. The Lord knows we will never be perfect here (that doesn't mean we don't strive for excellence) but allow His grace to POUR over YOU!
