Welcome to our book club (or whatever it's called when one of us reads a book that the other hasn't, and has a whole podcast episode discussing the book. You know, that kind of book club). In this episode, we take inspiration from Danni's recent read "Buy Yourself the F*cking Lilies: And Other Rituals to Fix Your Life" by Tara Schuster, to finally discuss...Money! (cue Cardi B's Money)  Danni and Miki share their relationships with money, how their childhood and upbringings have shaped how they view their finances today. If you've ever avoided looking at your credit card bills for fear of the number or refused to buy candles because you couldn't justify purchasing an item that's being burned away, ya better sit tight and tune into this convo.  Rec of the week is one of Miki's (and Danni's) all-time favorite stand-up specials, Ali Wong's Baby Cobra. Ali Wong is an Asian American comedian, actress and writer. This special came out in 2016 on Netflix, and Ali covers sex, race, relationships, and marriage with laugh out loud humor and wit.
