Remember Reading packs so much book love into each episode. Interviews with smart people help us learn about the books we’ve loved since we were kids, and how to love them even more…and about who we are, who we were as kids. Plus the magical way people write for kids. This is one of the best book podcasts that not enough people listen to! Blow it up, book nerds!

Finally, a podcast for me! As a child growing up in the 70’s, contemporary books were the classics from the 50’s, 60’s and before, mostly the books from my mother’s childhood. But these were the books that taught me to read and LOVE reading! I was the child that looked forward to the summer reading program...when I checked out at the library my stack of books went all the way up to my chin! And I usually had them read before the due date. But what, as an adult, I love about this podcast is not only the remembrance but the contemporary books they inspire. As a preschool teacher inspiring new readers this is especially important. Thank you for giving me validation that reading is as important today as it was when I was a child.

Hands down! This is my new favorite #kidlit podcast. It features classics, new works, author interviews, inspiration AND helps me build a great display! I’m so happy to see these retro reads being celebrated! Thanks SO MUCH @readingpod! 📚❤️

It's exciting to be an adult finding the meaning renewed the literature of one's youth. The program gives me goose bumps reguarly, and I'm thrilled by the appearances of new episodes. I would love to listen to them more often.

Quickly paced, very professional, and insightful. It was a treat to hear interviews from some of the authors from my favorite childhood books and also hear from newer writers who discussed how these children’s classics influenced them. Inspired me to write and reminded me of the magic I felt at the kids’ section of the library in the 90s.

Remember reading is a great podcast who loves a deep dive into classic books. I especially enjoyed the first episode on Charlotte’s Web!

I loved this podcast about Charlotte’s Web. I’m an adult who loves children’s books, authors, and illustrators. I love the input of other author, also love hearing it read bu the author. I shared it with other people, and I hope they listen to it. I plan to listen to more of your podcasts.

Listened to it with my daughter and not only got me excited about reading Ella enchanted, it got her excited. Really well done, great execution, loved the interviews with the author and people who knew her.

I am always looking for new ways to engage my students in reading and to flip the switch to help them catch the “life long reading bug!” This happened for me when I was in fifth grade and my teacher read E.B White’s Charlotte’s Web to us everyday after lunch! It quickly became my favorite time of the day and solidified my desire for becoming a teacher (especially a reading teacher!) I wish I could have heard Mr White himself reading exerts from the book like was shared in this podcast! My students and I loved it!!! They have asked for me to replay the podcast for them and so far we have listened to it three times! Cannot wait to see what the the next podcast is about and some how I can use it with my students!

This is why we love classic books. Also it’s fun and rivals The Moth in certain moments. They get honest y’all! I’m going to be rereading more of these! Newcomers to nonfiction podcasts or classic lit take note, this is one of the better podcasts of 2019.

I love this podcast! It’s so interesting and informative. It really brought me back to the days of reading my favorite child books growing up, so it’s a perfect nostalgia boost with a new modern feel. Sentimental and sweet. Recommend to ANYONE WHO LIKES BOOKS!!
