Today’s prayer came from the book Every Moment Holy Volume 3. This is a great resource of prayers for different moments in your life! Sometimes we don’t have the words. But we can lean into His word and the body of Christ to help us connect with Him. Thank you, God, for Your love. Be near, O Christ. Calm the storm within me. Command my soul to “be still”.

This week we finish 1 Peter chapter 1. Peter reminded the believers that God will hold us accountable for our actions! Because Jesus paid the ransom for our sins, we should live with gratitude and love for each other! Life forever begins the moment we place our trust in Jesus! Thank you Jesus for taking my place!

1 Peter is full of good truth! We must prepare our minds with the truth of His word! We must place our hope in Jesus! We must seek to be holy, because God is holy.

This week we are continuing in the study of 1 Peter. Peter remind us that the knowledge of salvation through Jesus is something that the prophets have spoke about for many years! The readers are getting to experience in full what the prophets could not. I pray that we are thankful for our salvation in Jesus every day!!

This was a hard one. I pray you reflect on these verses and notice the joy in the trials. Does our response to suffering prove our faith to be genuine? We are so loved, through it all. Remain with Jesus, even on the hard days.

Season three!! I am so excited to dive into a new book of the Bible on the podcast: 1 Peter! Peter is an apostle of Jesus . He wrote this encouraging letter to the Gentiles in Asia minor. The Christ followers in this area were facing intense persecution. Peter reminds the believers to put their hope in Jesus and look forward to eternity with Him!

Stay with Jesus. At His pace. Where He leads. That is how we grow fruit that lasts! Thankful for season 2! The journey of the last year has been so fun! Life with Jesus is abundant! ❤️

This week I shared our “theme” verses for the podcast and talked about how God illuminated a part of that scripture in my life recently.

The God of the universe is so powerful and yet so personal! He is everywhere, all at once. God is omnipresent! Our minds cannot comprehend this truth but I’m so thankful for it!

God is good. All the time. He is good. On the mountain, He is good. In the valley, He is good. On January 5th, 2026, one of my favorite people went home to Jesus. He was my friend, mentor, pastor, and number one podcast listener. In this episode, I spent time talking about Scott and the impact he had on my life. This podcast would not exist if God hadn’t used Scott to encourage and challenge me. I’m forever thankful. My heart longs for Heaven! Pray for his family and church.
