Reline Unknown: The Infrastructure Vlog
Reline Unknown: The Infrastructure Vlog
Recycled Media
Looking to expand his own knowledge of pipe reline and infrastructure rehabilitation, Cassie Jordan embarks on the journey into the NO DIG construction world while interviewing experts in all facets of the industry. Given the opportunity to manage a HDPE pipe reline manufacturing company in 2018, Cassie quickly realized there was so much more to this fascinating industry. The key stakeholders that drive the decisions made by businesses, municipalities, local and federal government agencies are determining everyday how Americas aging underground infrastructure will be dealt with in the upcoming years….Our mission is to help individuals and organizations gain insight into the pipe reline and infrastructure world and help process the key decision that will need to be made… RELINE or REPLACE.
Reline LIVE: Reline and Rehabilitation Solutions with Rian McCaslin and Don LeBlanc
Join Cassie Jordan with Rian McCaslin from Contech Engineered Solutions and Don LeBlanc, P.E. from DLVEWS. Rehabilitating or relining a drainage or sanitary pipeline or structure requires a site-specific analysis. There is no one-size-fits-all approach. Every reline project needs to be examined closely by qualified professionals. ContechES offers many products for reline and Rehabilitation, but this Reline LIVE we are going to focus specifically on their A2™ Liner Pipe and DuroMaxx®.

Reline LIVE: A Contractor's Perspective
Join Cassie Jordan with Don LeBlanc. P.E. and Travis Stearns from C. L. H. & Son. Travis is a culvert sliplining contractor that will be giving us a look into what a sliplining job looks like from beginning to end. As our country's infrastructure ages, it’s necessary to monitor all culverts to make sure they are still performing the function they were designed to do and to prevent problems such as roadway sinkholes or flooding. Travis is going to walk us through what this process looks like from start to finish. Bring your questions. Don and Cassie will be discussing challenges they face when working with contractors on liners and what are some of the hurdles that they face on the day-to-day.

Reline LIVE: Inlet Geometry with Don LeBlanc and Don McGriff
Just like anything in the trenchless construction world, the feasibility of a culvert rehabilitation & reline project starts with high quality engineering. Recently, Don LeBlanc and Don McGriff spoke at the Transportation Research Board conference in D.C. on the topic of improving entrance losses and headwater conditions. In this version of Reline LIVE, you will hear from “the Dons” on their experience with helping owners and engineers out with their hydraulic concerns. They will discuss the various types of inlet modifications (including the HydroBell by ISCO/Snap-Tite) and how they have been modeled in various engineering programs.

Reline LIVE with Don and Andy Sherwin of Channeline
Don't forget to check out the video on our website here: http://tvpipesolutions.com/reline-live/#GcYKKXbeh14During this Reline LIVE we will be adding a new topic and exploring a sanitary sewer case study as well as a culvert rehab case study.Large diameter pipes and culverts represent the backbone of any city’s utility network for the collection and disposal of sewage and effective drainage of stormwater. In many cases the fabric of these pipelines, which may consist of brick, stone, concrete or clayware will have been constructed decades ago and although proven resilient, has eventually succumbed to the ravages of time, suffering the effects of H2S attack or erosion and may even be exhibiting signs of imminent failure due to structural loading beyond that of its remaining capability. At this point, the need arises to consider the means by which the structural rehabilitation of these pipelines and ducts can be achieved whereby a new, 100-year plus life expectancy can be provided with a high degree of confidence. Channeline international has been providing bespoke Structural Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP / FRP) lining systems since the early 1980’s, they have engineering and manufacturing experience for both Circular and Non-circular buried infrastructure worldwide.
