Released brings you the unfiltered realities and self-told narratives of formerly incarcerated individuals, during their post-incarceration years. The podcast is hosted and produced by Abigail Guziewicz, a full-time volunteer at Homeboy Industries, and Edin Madrid, who was tried as an adult at the age of sixteen and served fourteen years behind bars. Brought to you out of Homeboy Industries, the largest gang reentry program in the world, Abby and Edin come together to give others the mic to tell their stories and lived experiences, both inside and outside of prison.
