Life’s greatest joy and greatest pain come in our relationships with others.  God created us for relationships so it's no surprise that we learn best how to navigate them…together!  On Relationships Unraveled, we will create an inviting atmosphere for conversations that goes below the surface!  We will unravel stories and relationship dynamics of all kinds (God, Self, and Others), through honest and practical conversations that shock the norm to create new perspectives and understanding! I am your host, Maranda Kirk, and I use my faith in Jesus, passion, life experiences, and training as a life coach and Enneagram coach, to unravel ideas around relationships. On this show, we will talk honestly and practically about relationship dynamics we all face, so we can live the life we were created for, be an inspiring example to others, and ultimately fan the flame of relational wellness!  I learn and grow tremendously from the conversations I’m having with people, so I want to bring you along, in hopes that, by listening in, you will feel supported as you are challenged and encouraged to apply new ideas, understanding or skills to the relationships in your life and begin making the changes you desire!  By experiencing small wins, we create momentum as we make progress!Given my heart for conversations and relationships, I want to hear from you, connect with you, and cover the topics you want to learn more about!  Connect with me on my website where you can join my email list, www.marandakirk.com  Find me on Instagram @marandakirk and Facebook @Maranda Kirk - Relationships Unraveled.
49. Are Your Actions Speaking Louder Than Your Words?
I’m sure you have heard the saying, “Actions speak louder than words”. Well, today I want to chat more about that with you. I want you to reflect on your own behaviors and the authenticity of your intentions in your relationships. I encourage you to take small, genuine steps towards change rather than just talking about it. Be honest with yourself: Are there areas in your life where you're vocal about what you want to change but haven't taken the first step? It could be a habit you want to break, a skill you wish to learn, or a relationship that needs mending. Recognizing these areas are crucial because acknowledgment is the first step towards action. I hope today’s episode helps you. I’d love to hear about it!Thank you for listening! I’d love to hear what you thought about today’s episode: @marandakirk or email me at [email protected]

43. Unraveling the Truth Behind New Year's Resolutions
It’s almost the New Year and that means that so many are focusing on New Year's resolutions. I want to suggest a different way to look at New Year's resolutions in today’s episode. I am sharing my own struggles with resolutions and the things that often prevent us from achieving these goals. I want you to shift you perspective and focus on self-discovery and understanding rather than setting specific goals. It’s important to use this time to self-reflect, take responsibility for our actions, and step out of our comfort zones. I suggest that you look for God’s presence first and foremost and the blessings that we have in our lives. God’s highlight reel of your year looks a lot different than what a typical highlight reel of the year may look like and I encourage you to find that in this year!Thank you for listening! 42. Giving the Gift of Curiosity | Holiday Series
There is something simple that you can give this holiday season — the gift of curiosity. Genuine curiosity and asking open-ended questions shows care and concern when talking with others. I challenge you to not ask the newly married couple when they are going to have a baby, or the single family member if they are dating someone. I encourage you to ask meaningful questions and truly be curious about other’s lives. That is a true gift that you can give this holiday season. Thank you for listening!
