A brief wrap-up of my takeaways from learning about Universal Design for Learning and ADA Compliance.

This week I reflect on the process of designing lessons to engage audiences.

Consider a time when a lesson plan just failed, because it failed to anticipate the broad needs of your learners.  This week, we will discuss how UDL can help you plan for inclusive learning environments that allow ALL learners to participate, and also some thoughts about accessibility of resources to support inclusive populations.

This week, I reflect on how acknowledging learning differences and inclusion maybe isn't traditional, but it is imperative to becoming an effective instructional designer.
