How are we already at week three of our Spooktastic Halloween Adventure? The time flies during this, the spoo-ooo-ookiest of seasons.  Our theme was "supernatural" and the witch hat produced the 1986 film, "Witchboard." And what a super time we had! 1980's goddess, Tawny Kitaen, stars as a woman with an increasing obsession with a Oujia Board and the spirit that lives within, as the two men vying for her affection try to save her from herself.  On this week's episode Snowy's bourbon gets aggressively loud, the Doctor simply must have a fedora to call her very own and we discover how bad we are at an Alexis Rose impression.  There are massive OSHA violations, a waterbed cameo, Detective Du Hast who really just wants to be David Copperfield. We are taught the correct pronunciation of Oujia, have trouble deciphering between a 10 year old ghost and a demonic spirit, we become entranced with the zaniest medium in film as well as learn her rad catchphrase AND we learn that a light concussion of the 80's is the regular coma of the 2000's.  Snowy shares her first and totally unforgettable strip club experience, the Doctor gives a whole new meaning to "hi-fiving" and we stand firm that "we don't fux with the Oujia." It's week two of our Spooktastic Halloween Adventure and this week we wanted to delve into the realm of zombies. And we do so, albeit sparingly, with the 1984 Film, "Night of the Comet." This movie is deep in its mid-80's confidence and gives us a lot to consider. From the rad soundtrack to the kinda, sorta stylish gang of scientists to gun wielding teenage rebellion to cognizant zombies and major questions for the writing team. We launch into discussions about our end of days strategies, Snoelle learns a valuable lesson to prepare for the next meteor shower and we find out the Doctor's sincere worries about "the vapors." We are gonna learn what the five fingers said to the teenage cheerleaders face, discuss our mutual love for the zombie genre, discover The Doctor's radio station desires and search for the plural of lobotomy.  How many reels is one of Charlie Manson's favorite movie gonna get? It's the beginning of our Spooktastic Halloween Adventure and we are coming at you with a heavy hitter, Killer Klowns From Outer Space. It's the film that scarred a generation of children and made a forever foe out of the red nosed circus staple.  In today's episode, we can't help but notice all the innuendo of three ways and more ways, discuss the importance of a short, concise safe word (may we recommend, "Cocoon") and Snoelle takes us back to her college days and treats us to a story about da club and the magic of Darude's "Sandstorm." We think "The Nun" may have ripped off their theme music from Killer Klowns, we stand firm that we DO NOT like it when animals die in movies, The Doctor brands the term "boop the snoot" and is very open about how she would react in a clown apocalypse type situation. It's week three and we are exploring the 2016 film "Gods of Egypt" - a film about oversized gods and the tiny plebeians who love them... or think they are just okay.  We imagine this is the version of Egyptian Mythology as told to you by that one kid in your class with maybe too overactive an imagination that went to Barnes and Noble, flipped through the Cliff's Notes but decided not to buy it, and just filled in the rest. It's like that.  This week we discuss capes, but make it fashion, ponder if we are actually watching Aladdin and express our disdain with too much CGI. We applaud the eye candy that are the stars of our film and marvel at the giant anal beads in the sky and oh my God, is that a vagina monster?! The Goddess that is the Doctor demands you bring her the meats, Snoelle brands herself a minotaur expert, we present a new segment and let you in on the secrets of Ice Sharks, all on this week's Reel Fun Times.

It's the second week in and we may have reached the peak of our Everest.  Hard Ticket To Hawaii is a movie you have never heard of but need to put on your queue immediately.   HTTH offers us so much... beautiful people who should be modeling, not acting...explosions aplenty...boobs...a slew of surprising one liners...a host with the most (misplaced confidence ever)...more boobs...a contaminated python... male side braids... rad 80's fashion... a storyline that skips around so much you'd think you were in a Hopscotch Tournament...and did we mention there are so, so many boobs?  Won't you come with us as we dive into this Andy Sidaris masterpiece? We uncover what it takes to be "an agent,"  learn how to cause a midafternoon distraction and discuss our disdain for "naked houses."  Snoelle questions why Gorbachov didn't do it, The Doctor channels her inner Hostess and we have major areola overload, all on this week's Reel Fun Times!
