This podcast is seriously so much fun and I laugh out loud at every episode. I like that they don’t just ruthlessly bash each bad movie but actually pull them apart and discuss exactly why they’re bad while giving them credit for the good parts as well.

I love this show. The host and rotating cast of guest hosts are delightful, hilarious, and utterly charming, so much so that I listen to every episode, even if I’ve (blessedly) never seen the film they’re discussing. For me, the show has the camaraderie, warmth, and hilarity of a late-night conversation with best friends. Thanks so taking things that are real bad and making them real good, y’all.

If you want to listen to people passionate about movies, watch and review the very worst of them look no further. It’s very funny.

Ok so I am, admittedly, a recurring guest of this podcast, but it is always a blast to listen to & I always learn a ton about how these films get made and how we tell stories, more broadly.

I stumbled upon this podcast from a blog I read (Snark Squad FTW!) and was intrigued by the position that The Long Kiss Goodnight was a bad movie. I listened to that episode, and while I strenuously disagree, I found that the host and guests were quite delightful, articulate, and fun. I listened to a few more and was hooked. I also enjoy that they try to find something good about each movie and also suggest alternatives to the movie they present. I'll definitely be listening for a long time.

I freaking love listening to these awesome people talk about film. I love movies and I just want to hang out with these creators to talk about them all the time. The best part is that listening to this podcast is basically doing just that.

Every time I listen to the podcast, I end up feeling a little guilty about how Nick being exasperated and frustrated by bad content creates such good content. Hearing him and the rotating cast of guest stars go into great detail on the strengths and weaknesses of each movie also highlights for me how well informed and spoken they are on the subject of film...certainly in comparison to me. It's not quite schadenfreude...but thank you all for suffering so that I don't have to.
