Terrible
Just listened to episode 454 and couldn’t get through the first few minutes . You guys sound like racist Christian bigots .

Wtf happened here
This used to be a great entertaining show but the quality has tanked and they seem to just be covering cases that already have had a lot of attention. Also in a shocking turn of events the non white immigrant woman has somehow become the UK version of MAGA and her racist/sexist/islamaphobic views are leaking into their true crime podcast. Hopefully Hannah branches out and I can support her again in the future.

Glib tone
Well researched, but the hosts tone while telling the story is often glib and a bit elitist.

Love You
These women are so clever, funny and , at times, scathing in their descriptions and opinions. They make me laugh in every episode, but the best thing about them is the detail in their research. This is easily my number one favorite podcast and I look forward to listening to them every week! Suruthi and Hannah, you’re the BEST!

Used to be good
This used to be my favorite podcast, but now it’s mostly boring shorthand episodes and ghost stories no one wants to hear. We’re here for true crime, not an hour of you two chatting about witches and ghosts.

No credibility
Their lack of research when they purport to teach people about history is arrogant. In the episode about Jesus, they called the country where he lived "Palestine". All historians agree that was not invented until the Romans made it up generations after Jesus had died. The only name that Jesus ever called his country was "Judea" i.e. "Land of the Jews". It's not a matter of modern politics, it's undisputed historical fact.

New to this
I really enjoy the podcast. The hosts are so easy to listen to. The stories are very interesting and put together very well. My commercial breaks repeat the same commercials several times. I’m all for you being supported but would love if the commercial wasn’t repeated in the same break.

Really wanted to like it
I wanted to like it and I tried very hard to like it. But between the liberal hypocrisy and blatant man bashing it got to be too hard to listen. Other podcasts do better storytelling with less teenage sleepover type angst.

Phenomenal
I should have done this long ago. This podcast is consistently well done, easy listening even with difficult content. These two ladies are brilliant. My only criticism is I wish there was more content to consume. 😄😭😍

Excellent true crime comedy mashup
How am I just finding this show? I am an avid listener of the true crime comedy duo style of podcast - My Favorite Murder, True Crime Campfire, etc. This show is right up my alley and I so excited that I have so many episodes to enjoy. Suruthi and Hannah have excellent rapport, are sharp and funny, and tell great stories, many of which are new to me. The common occurrence of Simpsons references are also a huge bonus :)

By far my favorite!
I keep this show on repeat, listen to the same stories over again, love the banter, the back stories, and obviously the true crime stories!

Had high hopes
Feels like listening to my lil sister when she was in high school telling her friends a second hand story … yeh… lots of other podcasts that do better jobs without the girl talk chatty side stories that no one else cares about..

A scream of a podcast
This show is technically a true crime show, but it’s so much more than that. It’s history. It’s current events. It’s context. It’s an exploration in human behavior and deviant psychology. It’s humor. It’s rage. It’s all those things woven into stories by two of your most intelligent and witty friends. I’m always in the mood to listen.

Fantastic podcast! It is nice to listen to a perspective from across the pond .

This is a great one
My favorite TC podcast. I could listen to them read the phone book. They are funny. They are intelligent. They always teach me something new. These two get to the story and have as much fun as you can in true crime doing it. Stories are from all over the world. Subscribe if you love true crime.

Fantastic podcast
Top notch true crime podcast- really interesting, clever commentary, and handle gruesome details with care and thoughtfulness. Love Saruthi and Hannah!

Love it!
I find the recent spate of negative reviews hilarious. Keep doing what you’re doing to piss certain people off you beautifully snarky Brits!

Was a fan
Used to love this podcast. The stories were well researched and the hosts told it well. They used to not insert their opinions and kept the banter to a minimum. But they’ve changed since they released a book. Now the hosts are snobby and insert their opinions as if they’re credentialed/trained crime analysts. Both of them are so full of themselves and use snark to diminish and laugh at people. They think they’re subject matter experts., but they’re just glorified storytellers who regurgitate what others wrote. The latest episode about the Viper Room is especially cringy and irreverent. They’re very judgmental about Los Angeles and LA culture which they clearly do not understand. I’ll probably unsubscribe soon. PS… Sunset Boulevard isn’t called “The Strip”. It’s just called “Sunset”.

They work incredibly hard to make this pod very interesting. I love how refined they “sound” and drop “F” bombs as elegantly as if they were having high tea!

Easy to listen to
I love this podcast. Hannah and Suruthi have very pleasant voices and accents (coming from a US midwesterner). The cases and topics they cover make me feel like a smarter person. They also make me laugh through the tragic stories. Thanks for making this show!

Hands Down. Best True Crime Series
Love these girls, I’ve been listening for 5+ years. Every other series inevitably goes downhill but not this one. Well researched, perfect blend of chatty and storytelling. Culturally aware and smart. Can’t go wrong!

Amazing podcast
These ladies cover many topics, including, of course, true crime, as well as some spooky and other subjects. When they cover true crime stories we've heard many times, they include in-depth details and perspectives that keep it interesting, exciting, and the right amount of disturbing! Definitely in my top 2 podcasts!!!

Love the global POV
I’m based in the US and the content we tend to get is specific to our country. It’s super cool to hear stories from around the world. I particularly enjoy that ones that come with a historical or cultural deep dive.

Frustrating
I actually really love this podcast. However, I am becoming increasingly annoyed by the fact that Hannah thinks she is an expert about everything. Her arrogance is rude. My father was a polygraph examiner for the FBI. He was a brilliant man who was also trained as an INVESTIGATOR. Not a podcast investigator. A trained agent. So, my guess is he had a lot more skill than just “reading tea leaves”. Please stop criticizing everyone else to make yourself feel smart.

Okay
Fkng hate Hanna, your loudmouth hyper speed speech is a complete turnoff. ALSO STOP SPITTING WHEN YOU PEAK. are you proud of your sloppy performance and your sloppy voice?

This podcast is great
Well written, the hosts have lovely voices and share their stories without swearing and gore. This podcast is one of my faves. I can’t believe they get one star reviews for politics, they seem to keep politics out of it, and I loved their Karen Reade takes!
Jokiopoi
pretty ignorant
I have listened to several hours of this and its just supposition upon supposition- the sort of stuff that says, "well, I wouldn't act like that, so this is evidence of guilt". Its just a couple of people talking about vibes. The podsphere has too many other rigorous true crime pods- this is amateurish

Used to love
I couldn’t listen anymore after the Luigi two parter. I feel like I’ve been able to stomach Suru’s staunch “unwoke” stance but the way they sit in the UK with their universal healthcare having never known someone to die because of lack of access to healthcare, makes me sick. They take Luigi’s act as something akin only to “a difference of beliefs” - “would you want to be killed for your difference in beliefs?” This is the same logic you would see on an incel forum. MY ACTIONS AND BELIEFS ARENT KILLING PEOPLE. It feels very privileged to speak about someone as a criminal when you’ve never suffered from the actions of an Insurance Co CEO.

Allegedly
Really terrible journalism to not emphasize “allegedly” in the Luigi episode. You spoke the entire time as if he was already found guilty, as if the evidence was all going to stand during trial. The trial isn’t close to over and maybe you shouldn’t have covered it if you couldn’t do it without so much subjectivism. Even your examination of his psychology is highly inappropriate and based on his internet footprint and a 3 page “manifesto.” You put sooooo much of your own political opinion in this episode. Coverage like this prevents a fair trial.

Allegedly
It took 12 minutes into the Luigi episode to say allegedly. Before that they were constantly referring to him as the killer. Thats sloppy work when the accused hasn’t been put on trial.

OJ case
Suruthi-wrong on the Times cover and civil rights leaders/blacks being the racist ones on a darker image of Simpson. To this day, darker images are used to make blacks look less than here in AmeriKKKa. Hannah was right to state how the rest of the world can’t get the whole football fame thing bc it doesn’t exist in other parts of the world. The sickness my country has with race relations doesn’t exist anywhere else either. Just like our sickness with guns. What has happened to you? It’s unsettling to see that a brown Brit with an Indian background doesn’t get this concept since darker Indians are not deemed as beautiful as their lighter skinned neighbors. I have heard this from multiple folks from India here.

Smart, logical, great storytellers
Love these women. They never fall for conspiracies and think like rational humans. Loved their takes on the Karen Read case.

I’d stumble again
When I caught wind of the Australian woman accused of serving up a deadly mushroom lunch, I had to know more. I searched for a good deep dive and stumbled upon RedHanded’s episode about Erin Patterson. One listen later and I was hooked: the storytelling, the chemistry, the voices! Their accents are also 🙌 (sisters from a British mister). Consider me a lifelong fan. If you care about it, RedHanded has already covered it. Brilliantly.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars
I found these ladies 2 weeks ago, and binged all the episodes from being locked in a cupboard to the current one. Listening to RedHanded is like being gently soothed while someone describes a crime scene. Hannah and Suruthi’s voices are calm, their humor is unhinged, and somehow I finish every episode feeling both smarter and slightly more afraid of my neighbors. Five stars for the only show that can make me laugh while whispering, “And then he kept her in the freezer…”

LOVE but Hannah talks fast
Love this show so much! Great hosts and awesome research. Only problem is you may need to rewind and replay sometimes when Hannah is talking because she’ll start speaking at a 100 miles a minute and suddenly speak softly from time to time, so it’s hard to hear the tail end of whatever she’s saying. Still, worth listening and always great content!

Fantastic!
This podcast is vile and vulgar, and well researched and well performed. These ladies are smart and funny and make you comfortable being uncomfortable. They feel like friends to me and I would fight for them. That is all, enjoy!

Used to Love it, but what’s with the apathy?
I used to love the coverage of both obscure and popular true crime events, but I don’t get the politics of your show. I hope you’d know that your demographic is mostly millennials and Gen Z who are very concerned with social Justice and equity. Even if you both aren’t based in the United States, a good deal of your listeners are. Therefore you should-at minimum-acquaint yourself with the political events and sentiments of your listenership, and be sensitive to it. On a related side note, Hannah, please don’t shop at Target. They do not welcome or support your or Sruthi’s inclusion in their business. Please don’t give them your dollars.

I used to LOVE this podcast, I listened every week, was a Patreon subscriber, bought their book.. but Suruthi has done a complete 180 on her politics and beliefs, have NO interest in listening to a hypocrite
