I’ve been listening this show for quite a while and it does have some pretty good episodes and I find things kinda interesting but I am just so tired of the disrespectful laughing at people’s worst times in their life and events that are going on it just makes no sense to me and I’m done with it. There’s too many other shows to listen to that. Don’t do this.

They spoke very belittling of a whole country in the Mexico serial killer episode. They seemed arrogant and obtuse instead of funny and interesting. Stay across the pond please. Thank you!

I really wanted to like this but these ladies laugh too much about the death of real people. They also seem to gleefully describe the dismembering of a child. Their tone needs to change.

Their fake chuckling, fake joviality, lack of empathy is just off putting. They constantly interrupt the story with their stupid observations. When covering a Mexican case on a serial killer, one of them actually says ‘hold on amigos’. Too cringey.

Love this show. Was recommended via another podcast and I’m so glad I have it a listen. These ladies are sarcastic and funny as hell.

This podcast is funny (odd I know) thorough, and well researched. They have changed my mind, and my thoughts of guilt I listen to a lot of pod casts about true crimes I have already heard and think I know who is guilty my ideas changed with this pod cast they get way more information then the others I listen to! If I had to pick only one true crime pod cast this is the one I would pick their research, banter and well thought out opinions is refreshing and wildly entertaining

The one star reviewers need to calm down, these women aren’t experts and don’t claim to be! They’re just two regular people who love true crime and love to talk about it. It’s not meant to be serious. It’s meant to feel like you’re sitting at the dinner table with them. They’re funny, intelligent, witty and very entertaining! New fav podcast!

Easy listening pod about interesting subjects, well done

On the surface, and on first listen, you might expect the two hosts, who appears to portray themselves as empathetic, left-leaning feminists, to be knowledgeable and kind. They do, in fact, do extensive research on the cases they relate, at least as far as cold hard facts go, but they — perhaps ironically, given who they are — have very little care for marginalization and oppression in any genuinely way and repeatedly display a truly stunning lack of genuine empathy for others or knowledge about people who are different from them, much less a care to learn. These two appear to find their predatory colonizing royal family admirable and find the subject of racism and discrimination on the throne funny. They crack jokes about how Jonestown was “because of socialism” and act like that means no one, including the infants, children, abused women, and the families that fled were truly victims. They appear to have little idea of how mental health medications truly work, decrying their use because they have a potential side effect of suicidal ideation (protip: all psych meds can cause inverse reactions for the very thing they’re meant to treat by the very nature of how the brain works). They insist at one point that homophobia doesn’t cause closeted people to flee from sexual encounters or claim they would never participate in them knowingly and that homophobia and transphobia have no connection. I listened for quite a while, thinking for a long time that I was being uncharitable and misinterpreting what they meant, or simply noticing completely accidental lapses in knowledge or judgment that, surely, they would seek to correct, but over time these little moments of callousness and egoism built up to be absolutely unbearable, and I found I would rather seek my information from anyone else than these two. One can only take so much punching down before realizing it’s because they really, genuinely do not care, and when it comes to true crime, that is simply not acceptable to me.

There are plenty of fantastic children’s books on grief. Children’s writers are amazing and don’t deserve your grief. Boo.

The amount of research these two do is insane. Episodes are well organized. I like that they usually—but don’t alway—agree and the present facts before their opinions. They are also quite funny and there’s a mix of levity with the heavier themes. Lovely!

i started listening a while back and i’ve listened to every episode since the beginning. i love that the girls disagree with one another and offer differing perspectives. they challenge each other and that’s what makes it interesting. sometimes i don’t agree but they always make me think. i appreciate the research that goes into the episodes and that their opinions change over time. thanks girls, y’all are my favorite podcast out there!

Remember your dismissive attitude and condescension towards all the ‘conspiracy theorists’, how wrong everyone online was and how horrible we were for vilifying Patrick. And it turns out we weren’t wrong, we were just early. And her lawyer said outright that she does NOT admit to doing it and said in court of law that the evidence against her is essentially hearsay, all from one of the only other suspects. How about an apology. Or at least acknowledging that you shouldn’t make sweeping judgements before a case is even TRIED. Imagine if she’s found not guilty - imagine the harm youve done. Disgraceful

Changing my review based on the episode attacking Chris Hansen and his To Catch a Predator efforts to stop child molesters

I’m not a proud true crime listener and I don’t identify with anyone who is. I can’t deny though that these two ladies make every bit of news/history/true crime incredibly entertaining. Besides being witty and just the right amount of sarcastic, their accents just make everything even better. I binge this show on 1.8x speed, regular speed is not doable. And I don’t care what they say about people who listen to true crime to go to sleep, I’m one of those people now thanks to Hannah and Saruthi. No other voices could make listening to such terrible events so pleasant! However, I am Old Roman Catholic (we pray for the Popes return to Christianity) and the jabs at Christianity/Jesus/Communion/etc hurt my heart.

Everything I’ve ever needed from a true crime podcast!!! 10/10 no notes

I honestly don’t know how I’m just discovering these two, absolutely fabulous true crime queens! After listening to recent shows and loving them, I decided to start from the beginning! All the way back to 2017. May I recommend Halloween Part 2 the crime is great but the story of Surithi’s travels to Iceland had me rolling. Thanks ladies.

Not a hard listen. Talented narrators - unlike much of the garbage podcasts that have no business podcasting- these chicks are fun and charismatic. The story telling has nice flow and timing. They’re also smart and funny and the topics they choose are great and ones that aren’t very common so it’s new content usually .

I absolutely love this podcast. I heard about it on Alone in the Woods and thought I’d give it a try. I am so glad I did! Thanks guys you are wonderful.

The only report of the Clancy trial that I can even begin to listen to. Thank you for presenting THE FACTS and not TikTok true crime conspiracy theory slop.

Listened to the Lindsay Clancy episode and there was tons of misinformation, judgement and disinformation. Disappointing to say the least. Please educate yourselves before posting something like this on your huge platform.

I just wanted to thank you on your incredible episode on Lindsay clancy. The way that it was so well done, your opinions were educated, intellectual, so in line with my own … the way you explain the difference between legal definition of insanity and mental illness. Just everything. I was starting to doubt humanity with the discourse online. Thank you for being so impartial.

You guys are awesome but please do more research on suicidal ideation, specifically when discussing your opinions-as-facts on whether someone with suicidal tendencies will or won’t discuss their plans.

Previously rated 5 stars and used to LOVE RedHanded. The bigger they got, the worse their attitudes. They also tend to state their feelings as outright facts, which has been hearing on my nerves for a while. Doing this in regards to current cases creates bias in your listeners that think they can trust you for accurate information & feeds division within the community. It’s probably safe to assume the accuracy has been lacking the entire time but I’m just noticing now, since it’s been coverage of cases I’ve followed myself. This is where I unsubscribe. Do better.

I don’t care what other people say, I think this was an excellent unbiased take. Man, Suru, you really ruined me at the end of the second episode in the update. Thank you for honoring the real victims.

I really think you owe your listeners an apology for the coverage of the Clancy trial. The number of items that you represented as facts, when they are not provable in any way is astonishing. She did not confess, she was told what happened, she was arrested before she even woke from a coma. Almost all of the “facts” are exclusively Patrick’s word. No one besides Patrick confirmed that she spoke that night, not a single person. Her googling “what is a sociopath” does not mean that she thought she was a sociopath! Why would you present it that way? How do you know she wasn’t googling that about her husband? They proved in the trial that she was not the one who googled suicide, she was at the doctor with her child when this happened, it was Patrick. Why are you presenting their marriage as being so perfect when he was very possibly having an affair? We don’t have any of his phone records. Don’t you think it’s odd that his mother is testifying on Linsey’s behalf? Women online are not joking about killing their children. You are being fed something in your social media feeds that is making you think poorly of women. Every single post I’ve seen about the Clancy trial has focused on the lack of evidence and the poor mental healthcare in this country. No one knows what happened in this case because there was absolutely zero investigation. None. I’m not sure where your bias is coming from, but it is staggering.

I’ve been a fan since the early days. Listened to the first episodes, subscribed to their patreon, etc. But their shift toward alt-right nonsense & aggressively stated inaccuracies are too much. Unfollowed after nearly a decade of this being my favorite podcast.

They just bs about things they know nothing about and you can tell they think of themselves as very clever.

Just when I thought you all couldn’t suck any more. UNBEARABLE Suruthi can barely hold onto the hatred she has for other ethnicities and poor people. Also stop covering US cases since you hate our county so much.

I used to love Redhanded, but after seeing how they so incredibly poorly handled the Clancy case (regardless of opinion, sharing just outright absolutely false information that it does not take an expert to clock), I’m subsequently removing every “fact” I thought I learned from this source from my mind. No one who has done even basic research into the case or watched the trial would say such things. And this isn’t even to mention the baffling levity and judgement with which mental health crises are referred to. Incredibly disappointing.

When I originally stumbled upon RedHanded I thought they added a bit of fresh air to the true crime genre as they seemed respectful and well researched. As the years went on it quickly became apparent that something had changed. Disrespectful, tasteless bad jokes, and bad research all come to mind. Topped off with a healthy dose of sudouintellectualism/Elitism.

Hannah and Seruthi have a genius rapport; it makes the podcast more fun. As an American who has lived in Britain, Hong Kong and France, I was cringing with the Wine & Crime hosts during your collab. That was so embarrassing for all Americans. Please don’t think that is representative of all Americans. However, finding out that Stonehenge was privately owned until 1918 was fascinating. Keep up the amazing work and thank you

Please just share the story. The over intellectualization of things like cross-racial adoptions or the manosphere are so overwrought and boring.

This is my favorite true crime podcast , it’s similar to all the other female duos but there banter is fun and interesting and I find they actually talk about deeper topics and not just useless chat, the research for their cases is by far the best of all the podcasts out there and they have great story telling. It’s the only podcast I’ve listened to every episode!

Redhanded was so good in its first few years. I took a break at the start of this year and am coming back now to catch up. The episodes are definitely not as fleshed-out as they used to be and the dynamic between the hosts has shifted with more apparent political differences. Also, there are so many shorthands lately that are giving “here, damn” instead of deep dives on cases. And worst of all, there are so many ads throughout the episodes now! I miss the old Redhanded, sorry girls.

They are a great team and I love that they are from England (I’m from the USA), as it gives me different stories and perspectives.

Giggling not appreciated

Shocked that this podcast was recommended to me after finishing all seasons of the Unforgotten (which was wonderful, and handled with both integrity and tact). Not sure if it’s all the laughter and lighthearted nature in the speculation of how to dismember a body, but yikes. Celeste Rivas Hernandez was someone’s DAUGHTER. Her immediate family is still alive. Gross.

I started late and listened to them all, and I love your story telling, research and commentary! I’m feel like lately there’s been less commitment. Sooo many short hands. Putting out an episode that doesn’t show part 1 of… Now 4! A month. To finish the story you are telling. It’s annoying

Please take into consideration that there are documents available along with videos that obv you have not shown any interest for. Bryan did plead out but it was to save his life when people were making podcast, documentaries and novels about him being the perp. People who are intuitive could tell he was not the killer. It shows most people who host these shows are just MSM and it ruins so many peoples lives with lies. Why do you think the prosecutor Thomson in hearing for plea agreement stood there and said they cannot place him, his car around that area. His phone pinged off tower but that is a highly populated area that covers 20 miles. So he could be at home pinging off that tower since he’s 10min away. Not to mention he pinged off that tower usually Sunday daytime when he went grocery shopping, everyone in area knows that Latah county has better store choices for groceries. Pullman residence always go to Latah for shopping. Not to mention he was a vegan so Walmart doesn’t have a big selection of vegan foods. And their produce sucks. It took a long time to read documents but facts are facts. Not something you watch on tv or read in a fiction novel that says it’s factual before anything is released. You just don’t care who’s life you destroy. Make me very sad. There are so many people around the world following this case who believe he is innocent. Too many lies from everyone around the case.

I work overnights at a fast restaurant… and sometimes, when I need a break from the endless aggravation of being a customer service manager I listen to these lovely ladies. I e tried a few true crime podcasts and fell in love with Color Me Dead and these ladies fill the void color me dead left. They don’t shy away from the details but they keep it as light hearted as they can given the subject matter and even make me think about Mad vs Bad. Keep it up!
