God had given believers the authority to forgive sin, therefore we must show care and compassion when we approach sin, and be willing to forgive other people. Points: The Believer’s Responsibility V.15-17 The Eternal Responsibility V.18-20

The passage today is closely connected with Matthew 19:30 featuring the verse: “the last shall be first.” Today we look at Matthew 20:16 in a different light, because this parable is focused on the reward. God addresses the concept of pay/reward and reverses it. He shows that it is through grace and not through human effort. Main Idea: The grace and mercy of God is equal for all, both in the present and at the final reward Points: We’re Hiring (20:1-7) Who gets a Better pay? (20:8-15) The Great Reversal (20:16)

Today’s Message is about Peter’s message to the Jews about the life of Jesus whom they have crucified. Today we will dig deeper on God’s message to the world. We will look into the life of Jesus and how he became the Messiah that was promised in Joel, and in David’s time. Hopefully by the end of today’s message we will understand what is the role of the Holy Spirit and how Jesus played a very important role on salvation. Main Idea: Jesus who was crucified is raised to life by God and He is the Lord and Messiah. Points: Jesus fulfilled the prophecy v.22-24 Jesus is the promised Messiah v.25-32 Jesus’ life is for God’s glory v. 33-36

Jesus confronts unbelievers so they might trust in Him, and He calls them to live on mission for Him as part of His church. God also employs believers to pray for, evangelize, disciple, and commission the people God brings into His church. In this session, we will see from Ananias’s reaction to God’s command that Saul was an inconceivable choice to be saved, much less lead the mission of taking the gospel to the Gentiles. No one would have foreseen his conversion. Yet God specializes in enlisting enemies to His service and uniting us with His church.
