This time we look at how musicians have found themselves in movies and what it meant for their careers. We predictably talk about a lot of our regulars and make categories and lists and all of the things that we always feebly do in order to make sense of our nonsense. 

We are back to talk about concept records. We start with trying to nail down just exactly what a concept record is before pivoting to a discussion around some of the iconic concept records of the last 50 years. 

We discuss our favorite album titles from the on-point to the uniquely strange to the purely nostalgic. What makes a good album title? Do album titles matter? What titles are we obviously missing? Episode three tries to cover it all while obviously missing a great deal.

We talk about music in 1945 and try to understand the landscape of post-war America. Our conversation ranges from Billie Holiday to Bing Crosby with several sideshows along the way.

We talk about live albums and what their deal is. Why are they made? Why are they listened to? Why do we like them (or don't)? Live albums are very curious to both of us and here we try a critical eye on their nature.
