Happy 1 Year Anniversary Reclaiming My Power Podcast & Happy Birthday to me! We made it! 1 year in and so many to go! I appreciate you all for the love and continued support throughout this journey. This episode is the beginning of an end. One that I thought would kill me. An experience that should've ended me. In this episode Jae and I sit down and discuss the miscarriage we suffered last year. Much needed to bury the past and move into the future with no looking back. I pray you enjoy. Please comment, like & subscribe.

We’ve made it guys! The Season Finale is here. Thank you all for sticking with me throughout this season. This was a season of learning, patience and overall, trusting myself on the mic. Can’t wait to see what Season 2 has in store.
For the season finale me and my guest hosts discussed SEX. It’s taboo in Black households to have this talk amongst family. Ultimately leaving one to find out how to navigate sexually from outside sources such as friends, tv and social media. When did you receive the Birds and the Bees talk at home? What were your views on sex growing up?
‘The Sex Talk’. You won’t be disappointed. As the generations are growing discussions like this are necessary and very important to have. We want healthy relationships with sex. Let’s make a habit of opening up so our children don’t suffer the same fates as we did.
Peace, love and laughter.

This week we talk sex! Feeling Myself! Unpacking Masturbation Shame. Even the word itself conjures up discomfort for many women. Where does this discomfort and guilt come from? Lack of information. Masturbation is an inherent gift. Feeling stuck creatively? Masturbate. Feeling blue? Masturbate. Can't sleep? Masturbate. Low self esteem? Masturbate. Feel yourself. All of you!

Dear Black Men Part 1 was a hit. So I decided to run this episode back. Dear Black Men, who do you need to forgive in order to begin to heal? What are some of the pressures that you face but rarely talk about? What were you taught about relationships when you were young? How did it help or hinder you? What has been the greatest lesson learned as a father?
On this episode I am joined by the host of Socially THOTful Podcast, Warren and Tyler. They open up and let me into their world as Black Men and answer some tough questions so that I can understand their plight better. As a Black Woman, I feel it is important to get their point of view so that we can love each other better without assumptions or judgement. I hope you enjoy.
Both of these Young men can be found on ig @s.t_podcast (#sociallyTHOTfulpodcast). Tyler's personal Instagram is @_blvck.king_ and Warren's personal Instagram is @levysicecream. Please make sure you comment, like and subscribe. We would love to hear your thoughts on this episode.

Every Black woman I’ve known has carried the weight of the world on her shoulders to create a better future for the next generation. We feel guilty for resting. We feel guilty for having weak moments. We feel guilty for wanting me time. We are overworked and underpaid. Constantly throwing on that superwoman cape to save the fucking world. We need to take a step back and hang up the cape to be able to be happy and healthy. But most of us have this nagging voice in the back of our head to do more to prove our worth. But we must remember that we have to prove that we are worthy of our own self-love, and take off the cape. I am worthy of taking a step back and sleeping and dreaming and being idle; I am worthy of the self-love that comes with taking off said cape and take the world off my shoulders for a bit. I do this to create a better future. I do this to help my sisters and my future children know that they are worthy and that they may rest as well. For all of our sakes, sis take off your cape.

Dear Black Men,
Let me start by saying that YOU are incredible human beings. I admire who you are. Your presence. Your grace. Your strength. This episode is all about you. You are a necessary. I am your teammate not competition. This conversation was important to help Black women try to understand your plight. Nothing is going to be an overnight fix, but we must all start somewhere. I love you Black Man.
A special shout out to @campaignszn on ig, @theoriginalplaymaker on ig, @_blvck.king_ & @therealjusblack ! All of you were dope and I appreciate the honesty and great company. I love ya'll.
Please be sure to comment, share and subscribe to the podcast if you have not yet done so! Peace, Love & Light.

How long does it take to drain the life out of a Black man's body? 8 minutes and 46 seconds. 8 bullets took the life of Breonna Taylor as she slept in her bed. N*ggas can't even exercise without being gunned down . This is a STATE OF FUCKING EMERGENCY AMERICA! In episode 10, I sit down with @averagejtpc & @bucleyonair to discuss these recent tragedies. Pain and trauma that we know all too well. Another name added behind a hashtag. Another family grieving. Another ancestor gained.
