Disney Expert Josh Pettit will join us for our third episode as we continue our three part series on Epcot. We cover Epcot from its opening in 1982 and the style it retained through the 90s. We focus on two dark ride attractions, Horizons and World of Motion, and then do a virtual tour of the entire future world park and talk about Spaceship Earth, Communicore, The Living Seas, The Land, Figment, World of Motion, Horizons, Wonders of Life and Universe of Energy.

During our second episode we will begin a three part segment on Epcot. Our first segment will cover Walts initial plans for Epcot which were quite unlike the Epcot we know today. We will also talk to Chad Emerson author of Project Future which gives a great account of the very beginning of how the Walt Disney World Resort landed in Florida and the challenges that were encountered by the Walt Disney Company, and one of Chads heros, Roy Disney.

During our first episode we will talk to Brent Dodge, author of From Screen to Theme. We will also give you a little background on what Recapturing the Future is all about and we will cover the People Mover and Futurama of 1939 Worlds Fair.
