Sadly, this podcast, which pnce had some really good advice about networking, has gone off the rails and now fully supports the most evil and murderous ideology that ever existed: communism. All while lying about facts. In one podcast, one of the hosts lamented the death of Fidel Castro---a murderous, psychopathic, theiving dictator. A simple Google search of Castro's crimes will suffice to show the kind of evil these two support. In another, the two spend a portion of the podcast lying, claiming that communists never infiltrated Hollwood or influenced filmmaking, despite the overhwleming evidence from the HUAC transcripts, the Venona project, the CPUSA's own members, and the KGB's files that yes, communists targeted and infiltrated the U.S. film making industry. Scott and Oscar should be ashamed of themselves, but sadly, such evil has no shame. Look for them to start apologizing for Antifa (re: communists's) shut down of Trump's 2016 Chicago rally, Antifa's shutdown of free speech at Berkeley, and various other violent communist activities.

Thank you Scott and Oscar for putting together a great podcast for lawyers! I look forward to your new episode every week. The discussions are so practical and applicable. As a lawyer who left managament of a larger practice to hang my shingle, I appreciate the experience and tips that you provide. Alycia K.

I've been listening to this podcast for about a year and what I love about it is that Oscar and Scott discuss the practical everyday aspects of running and marketing a law practice. It's not pie in the sky promises to help you achieve a multimillion dollar practice - it's boots on the ground, everyday practical suggestions and discussions on what they've tried and what's worked and, more importantly (to me) what hasn't worked. I really appreciate their sincerity and I think they genuinely care about their listeners who are similarly trying to navigate the practice of law in the internet age. Even when there's an episode that may not be particularly relevant to me, I still listen because it reminds me I'm not the only one out there in the trenches practicing in a smaller firm and trying to figure things out everyday. It actually motivates and inspires me to continue developing my practice and to push through those things I thought I wasn't particularly capable (i.e. networking - I especially appreciate Scott's openness and honesty about his struggles developing this skill). I'm bombarded with lawyer marketing sales pitches. I think this podcast; however, is more valuable than most of them because it's just these two regular guys offering sincere and honest assessments of what's worked (and what hasn't worked) and trying to improve. I wouldn't miss an episode! Thanks so much Scott and Oscar!

Pretty good overall.

These are excellent snippets of wisdom from two experienced and selfless lawyers. The podcasts are well done and easily consumed. Critical themes and lessons are repeated for easy learning. There is some encouraging cheerleading which is quite helpful.

Attorneys Scott Limmer and Oscar Michelen provide Great advice to both new attorneys and those looking to expand their practice. From marketing and networking to building a website and putting together a great presentation, the information is both relevant and valuable.

As an aspiring lawyer these guys give great insight into what it means being a solo or small firm lawyer. This POV is sorely missed when researching being a lawyer .

I am relatively new to this podcast. After listening to over half the episodes, it is my default podcast to listen to after a long day at the office. Listening to Oscar and Scott talk about law, career, business, etc. is like sitting down and talking to two old friends. They are so candid and honest. They aren't afraid to admit their own vulnerabilities, and they are entertaining (and educational). I feel like I'm hanging out with two old buddies of mine, even though I've never met them. Sometimes I wish the episodes were longer, but that's probably because I enjoy them so much. Keep up the good work gentlemen. I made the leap to solo practice after 13 years of insurance defense. As a recent graduate, and someone who wants to start a solopractice, these podcast have been an awesome source of advice. Both attorneys always give me something to consider and implement as I search for my place in my small town. I've also shared this with friends who could learn a few good tips on being a salesman. Scott and Oscar really have a firm grasp on what's going on today in the world of law and more importantly the business world. They are obviously very passionate about their business. The thing that they have put their finger on here is how the business of law has actually changed over time. The key word is business and they really explain how to use today's tools like social media and Facebook, etc. 2 Lawyers, a Podcast and a Plan. Well done gentlemen.
