Marcia Dinkins
Hello Beloved Sisters. It’s your girl Marcia here. I am so excited that you have chosen to join the Real Sisters, REEL Talk podcast as we journey through the Her-Story of our lives. On this journey we will connect and listen to the heart and heartbeat of our sisters to transform and heal the narratives that have fractured our souls. It is my hope that as you listen in you find fresh wind, fresh fire and fresh water that saturates your feminine soul.
When the Shoe Doesn't Fit
Hello Beloveds, The first thing I heard this morning was when the shoe doesn’t fit, which immediately made me think about Cinderella. We all know the story about how the prince sought out the woman who could fit that shoe. Cinderella’s shoe was probably the same size as someone else’s but did not fit her the same way. That is because when God puts you on a pathway, no one else can fit that shoe but you. No matter how much they try, no one can fit it like you.  It’s the same as when people come and try to fit in our space and we fight it but we don't have to because that shoe was meant for us, and us alone. Always remember: your shoe fits, your pathway fits, your calling fits.

Black Women & Black Health
Hello Beloveds, I am very grateful to be sharing this episode with you. Today we will be talking with Shalanda Wright about how women of color are commonly treated like they can’t make decisions over their own bodies.  Shalanda was born and raised in Alabama and was constantly mistreated by the health care system by doctors who either didn’t have the knowledge, were ignorant, or took advantage of women of color. She went through three miscarriages which led to her mental state being seriously affected.  In this episode we will be discussing how we do deserve healthcare, pregnant or not, and how racism affects the health care system in our country.

Your Voice
Hello Beloveds, It has been a while since we’ve talked. Today I just want to express to you the importance of your voice, because I feel happy with mine. I've realized my voice is my identity. The way we evolve, grow, and activate everything in our life is because of our voices. I used to run from my voice but I found a place to speak up and have people listen to my voice. Use your voice.

It's Time for Renewal
Hello Beloveds,   Today I want to share a quote: "Change is supremely inconvenient, uncomfortable and naturally scary. Yet we only move through life through the process of change, reinvention and renewal, and so bravery is our quintessential rebel for pushing us past our own limiting beliefs and behaviors. Bravery is feeling the fear, immersing yourself into it and through it so you can come out the other side." - Christine Evangelou   It is time for renewal beloveds.
