Let’s talk about John For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world…but to save the world through him.Today.. we need to understand the significance of Jesus’ sacrifice in the realm that Jesus didn’t come to condemn the world…in terms of passing judgment or harshly criticizing humanity for its sin but instead He came to reconcile us. To bear the pain of the price of our sins so that when God looks at us… He sees the righteousness of Christ in us because we believe He paid for our sins. You can’t tell the manager that someone else has paid all the bills unless you believe the person paid it right? Whether they actually did pay it or not, you first have to believe that the person paid the bills so that you can tell others… It’s the same for Christ…He paid for our sins, and now we just have to believe He did. Jesus didn’t come to add to the law of Moses and make our lives harder…He came to establish the new covenant and make the requirement of righteousness easier through belief in Him. So let us hold fast to the confidence we have in Christ Jesus, who died and raised again. So we can live a life that is filled with the Joy of salvation. Amen!
