The Vocation of Fatherhood with Special guest Mr. Kelly Atkinson
This episode my Mr. Atkinson and I explore fatherhood- the "Act of being responsible and a servant leader”. Mothers and fathers are equally important. They both are pillars to the development of our children. Conceptually things are different for women and men. We need both perspectives and relationships. You don't have to be the biological father to experience fatherhood. We are grateful for the uncles, coaches, clergy, neighbors, and step dads that take responsibility and have a positive influence in our community. Let’s take responsibility Fatherhood is who you are not a title you carry As a father when you take responsibility you are in the state of control you are accountable for the way you behave and react. You are the authority Remember we are all growing. Responsibility also leads to power. You have the power to penalize & discipline as well as provide love and compassion. They are equally important for the well being of raising healthy adults. Everything doesn't need a hammer. Practice restraining and temperament You are the role model. You are the model of a responsible father or mother. 5 Keys to Fatherhood Honesty Compassion & Respect Fairness Accountability Courage

This month we continue our series of Focusing on Fatherhood w/ Prof Vernet A. Joseph.
I am the women and youth civility practitioner, an ambassador, author, wife, mother, coach and many other things. But I am a daddy’s girl. I am a Blessedgirl because of the amazing father I had in my father Mr. Jeffrey S Garrison. Who we sadly lost earlier this year.
So believe me when I tell you. I love talking, learning, exploring and just "kicking it" with fathers.
Father's Day is a holiday of honoring fatherhood and paternal bonds, as well as the influence of fathers in society. A day to honor fathers and fatherhood
It’s observed in 111 countries. date to celebrate the special man who is a parent, friend and guide, unique role a father or a father figure plays in our lives.
Professor Joseph and I explore Father Figures. He is also know as Mr. Productivity- as the expert he tells us the productivity doesn't mean being busy. It's critical that we invest out time with our family. Do not down play yourself, your influence and your impact
The professor shares how your "audio must match your video in fatherhood. Children will see you long before they hear you. The importance of fathers supporting their children spiritually, financially, physically and mentally.
Fathers provide the fundamental blueprint as they lead by example.
As a son of immigrants from Haiti, one of the poorest countries in the world, Dr. Vernet quickly learned the value of productivity and empowerment. After losing his mother to Sickle Cell Anemia in 1994, he vowed to help others reach their maximum potential. “Losing my mother at such an early age made me truly focus on what is really valuable and important in life.” He attributes his tireless work ethic and service to humanity from watching his grandfather and father act as Ambassadors for Haiti. Together the Joseph men have served a combined 100 + years of military service to date.
It’s not a surprise that Dr. Vernet is a leader who trains other leaders how to serve and produce a life that leaves a legacy.
Thought Leader, speaker, business strategist and best-selling author, Dr. Vernet helps individuals, organizations, and corporations increase their bottom line, transform their performance and productivity for maximum results.

As the women and youth civility practitioner. I have the opportunity to speak and work with girls and women. But as a daddy’s girl I have a strong passion for recognizing and celebrating fathers and father hood
5 months ago I lost my dad. Honestly, I am still processes the loss and the grief. So this month is dear in near to my heart as we focus on Fatherhood
Fatherhood is the state of being a father. I recognize that fatherhood comes in many forms and shapes. So through this month we are going to have featured men who are fathers and they will share their stories, challenges, triumphs regarding being a father and the state of being a father.
Fathers, like mothers, are pillars in the development of a child's emotional well-being. They also look to their fathers to provide a feeling of security, both physical and emotional. Children want to make their fathers proud, and an involved father promotes inner growth and strength.
Fatherhood is about showing up.
This episode we encourage fathers to Re-Charge, Reflect and Self-Love
Today’s guest is a proud father, husband and son.

This month we are focusing on Fathers.
We are featuring fathers-the untold stories of sacrifices, support and strategies of being a successful father.
A father is a male parent. Everyone has a biological father, even if they're not raised by him. You might call your father Dad, Daddy, Papa, Pops, or even Father.
A father is someone who believes that by donating his sperm for your creation, he has done his duty in life. …
A dad is someone who gets up every day and does whatever he can to put a roof over your head, clothes on your back and food on your table
A good father loves his children, but he doesn't let them get away with murder. He strongly disapproves of his children's misdeeds, using tough love to prove a point. He does this through the power of his words, not his fists. .
Psalm 103:13: "As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him." Proverbs 22:6: "Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it."
