#34 What to do to make 2023 your best year yet!
There have been a couple of years I was ready to say “Goodbye” to.  And really, it was more like giving the middle finger to the year. That was me 1 year ago right now.  So if  2022 has been less than stellar for you, and you are chomping at the bit to begin a new year, my insightful friend AND fellow life coach, Anita Rombough, and I share what we do BEFORE making any new year goals. Anita is the host of Anita Chat... it's a great podcast that's to the point and typically less than 15 min. I highly recommend checking it out! Additionally, Anita will be hosting a Masterclass in January. She, along with all great things, can be found at: https://anitarombough.com/ And as a gift to you, my dear listener, here is 2023 + Me New Year Workbook with a video tutorial: https://static1.squarespace.com/static/58b60062b8a79bdea5c01fa9/t/638f802b7908aa4a25c52d95/1670348846383/2023+%2B+Me+New+Year+Workbook.pdf --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/simplifywithyou/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/simplifywithyou/support

#31 The Power of a Stranger + With The Magic of Christmas
The power of a stranger + the magic of Christmas combined creates the perfect time to share a gift with someone you don’t know. Listen in for a GREAT idea you can do this holiday season and it really doesn’t take any effort at all!  1. Write out letters 2. Put them in envelopes 3. Along with cash, gift card, or you know what… maybe there’s nothing in the card at all. Just a kind note. <<you'll want to adjust your messaging. 4. Go find a stranger to give it to (which could be service workers, too) This idea came from Chalene Johnson... it's so wonderful and I can't wait to hear if you and your family do it this holiday season, too! Here are Chalene's example of the letter, however, totally make it your own, too :-) Dear Beautiful human. Just a quick note to remind you that you are doing the most important thing a woman can do and that’s raising little humans. I know that it can be a bit overwhelming this time of year so I wanted to remind you that you’re doing an incredible job. You got this! Now I don’t know if it’s you or someone you know who could use this gift, but I’m positive I was supposed to hand this to you. I hope you feel loved and encouraged! You have so many blessings around you! Merry Christmas, a stranger. OR This was meant for you. I don’t know if you could use this gift or know someone who could, but I’m positive I was supposed to hand it to you. I hope you feel loved and encouraged! You have so many blessings around you! Merry Christmas, a stranger OR Dear Beautiful Stranger, Happy Holidays! Our paths were meant to cross today, I’m sure of it! This time of year can get crazy and busy and perhaps overwhelming for some people, but I just wanted to take a moment and tell you the season is all around you! You’re doing great things and I know you have many more blessings coming your way. I can just feel it! Now I don’t know if it’s you or perhaps someone you know who could use this gift but I’m sure I was supposed to hand it to you. You are loved. Merry Christmas. OR Hi there! I’m not sure if this will brighten your day or if you are meant to pass it on… but here it is… You are amazing and doing good things! Wishing you the happiest of holidays! And here is my note: Dear Beautiful Mom. Are you prepared when something happens to you? Who will be in charge of your finances, kids, and belongings? What type of funeral would you like to have? While not the sexiest conversation to have or thoughts to think about, coming up with a plan and sharing those with your loved ones will be super helpful + beneficial to them. Listen in on what hubby, Chad, and I recently found out about our investments when it comes to beneficiaries.
