Episode 100 of Ready Set Revue is no longer Ready Set Revue. Just like the inevitable reboot of the DCEU…just like when the Power Rangers get a new set of Zords…just like when heroes get a costume change…Ready Set Revue is now Flickin’ It: with Matt and Will. The ONLY movie podcast. Excuse the fact that our new logo was not ready by episode 100. We just left the theater with our podcast brother, Ed from Canon Fodder, and we saw The Flash tonight. Our expectations were low…but holy fuck. I can’t believe this movie took seven years to come to fruition. From the inexcusable CGI, to Miller’s horrific acting, to piss poor directing, this movie has all the trappings of what has made DCEU movies fail time and again. There are some bright spots, such as Michael Keaton’s return to the cowl and a surprisingly well written script and story. But they are not enough to save this dumpster fire movie. This one should be banished to the Speed Force.

On episode 124 of Talking Tacos the boys welcome Cast Iron Kyle. The boys will be partnering with Kyle later this summer to judge the first annual Philly Hot Sauce Fest, and we got a sample of that this week with a special selection of sauces supplied by Kyle. It’s all hot sauce this week, faithful listeners.

Your favorite comic book lovers are back with episode 2 of Matt and Mike Read Comics! This episode is all about the former Boy Wonder himself, Nightwing; specifically Nightwing by Peter J. Tomasi. What a weird and wild tale that Nightwing has gotten himself into with this run. Featuring outstanding art by the likes of Doug Mahnke and Rags Morales, this is a great book. We cover this and much more on our second episode.

On episode 123 of Talking Tacos, the boys remember Harambe. It was the anniversary of the catastrophic event that catapulted us into the worst timeline. Here we are. We get tiny beers, talk about the “high school track pooper”, AI taking over the world, and much more. Matt went to the Block. We try a sauce from Pepper Crusaders; the El Cid.

Episode 31 of Canon Fodder welcomes our new co-host, Pat! Long time friend of the show and fellow Fodderite has long been a part of non-episode conversations surrounding Canon Fodder and now he joins us as a full fledged member of the Revue Podcast Network. On this episode we get back to our James Bond series and cover the runs of Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan. There’s just a little bit of fodder thrown in there too. Did you know about the video game that was technically Brosnan’s last outing as James Bond? We do.

On episode 122 of Talking Tacos the boys make a phone call. We tried a hot sauce this week that, honestly, we should have known better. It was called Mustard Gas, and it was basically what was used in the trenches during WWI. It was pure pain and fire. It was so bad that we called the store that we bought it from live on the podcast (they didn’t answer). Special guest, Kevin Milazzo was the sacrificial lamb. We are also joined by special guest Ed, from Canon Fodder. We confirm that Britney Spears is indeed alive (so don’t sue us), Taco Bell tries to free the term “Taco Tuesday” for the masses, Dave Brandt of “it ain’t much but it’s honest work meme fame” dies, AI explodes the Pentagon, and so much more.

On episode 121 of Talking Tacos the boys are joined by Chris Cooks Crazy and Miss Spicy Queen. The boys were spoiled with THREE sauces from Chris’ lineup and all three were bangers. We had a great time talking with Chris and Miss Spicy Queen about their business, their brand, and of course, hot sauces. We have a new contender for Meme of the Week ™ and a number of other typically crazy topics. Grab a tequila and listen in!
