The proverb says that it takes a village to raise a child. The wisdom is in understanding that diverse perspectives and shared guidance by a caring community can best support the growth of children. Tina notes that the proverb actually extends to all of us throughout all the stages of our lives. Part of that sensibility is showing up with the latest "innovation" in the classroom (and hopefully, parenting) of limiting screen time. It takes a village and it takes personal connection.
