Due to some issue with Car Accidents we have limited stuff to talk about, but we'll power on regardless.
Skazz has been wading into the 'debate' of natural skill vs learnt knowledge. playing some unfamiliar games, including Valorant, DOTA 2, League of Legends, Overwatch and seeing how he improves to try a prove a point.
We also discuss skazz issues with Apple system data usage, the secret behind magic smoke, and the complexity of quaternions
Notes:
See if you have natural talent and beat skazz at Valorant, DOTA 2, League of Legends, Overwatch
Don't let out the magic smoke!
Melt your brain (maybe) with Quaternions

Welcome to episode 189
We are still living in post-apocalypse Russia, but have escaped the metro and heading into the wilderness around Moscow in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. like Metro: Exodus. Skazz is a quite bit further through the game then ram, but we've still played enough for us to discuss some of the gameplay elements. we talk about some changed to accommodate that larger more "open-world" levels including how throwing knives are still OP and how we love them. We talk about the new crafting system and our preferred guns fish worshipers and Skazz's bandit mate Dave.
We them move onto talking about Warhammer: Vermintide 2, the co-op hack-n-slash where we slice down hoards of Skaven and Chaos worshipers. We look at the new class system, the special ability's and some of the other minor changes.
Notes:
Experience life outside Moscow (probably not too far from the current reality) in Metro: Exodus.
The rat-men are back, close the skittergate in Warhammer: Vermintide 2

We were meant to be discussing the Metro series, but Ram forgot....
So Skazz has been playing the reboot of the 90s Tomb Raider series which relaunched in 2013, as a bonus he been trying it out on Linux via proton and has been having some good success. He talks about Lara journey from squeamish newbie to harden fighter.
Ram has been having mommy issues by playing the pregnant protagonist of Amnesia: Rebirth, we talk about psychological horror and if it affect us, annoying fear mechanics and the amazing resilience of pregnant women
Notes:
The rebooted version of Tomb Raider
The original 90s series
Watch Lara fight dog in a tomb via the power of Lucozade
Strangely the inverse to Lara, Spec ops the Line
Look after your baby and avoid monsters in Amnesia: Rebirth

We would like to pass on our support for the people of Ukraine in this terrible time. We would encourage everyone in our listen/viewership to donate to the Ukraine military support.
Skazz has been having a poor time in Elden Ring. The latest Souls-esk game from FromSoftware, hes found it a poorly optimized experience on PC and with crap frame-rates and random hang-ups. We also discuss our dislike of digital per-order bonuses.
Ram has been playing perspective based puzzler Superliminal, A mind-bending game with a interesting mechanic based around adjusting your perspective of objects.
Skazz also talks about the upcoming steam deck, and the surprise of what it'll be able to run. We discuss the specs and features, and when it'll be released.
We also discuss the our favorite Ukraine devs and discuss briefly the new Stalker 2 and the Metro games.
Notes:
Send your support to the Ukraine military, details here:
Souls-esk and poorly optimized with Elden Ring
Become trapped in a dream in Superliminal
Handheld PC gaming from Valve with the Steam Deck

Welcome to the confirmed episode 185
We join this episode with Ram suffering from low bandwidth as he joins us from a remote location (Better know as Norfolk). So we end up with a briefer podcast then normal.
Ram has been managing chaos in a modern city by playing 112 Operator, the sequel to 911 operator. He talk about Mercedes police horse and police trying to arrest fires as well as some of the quality of life improvement.
Skazz talk more about the fun hes been having in Zenith: The Last City a new VR MMO that currently in early access. He discusses and talks about some of the fun mechanics in the game with climbing and flying, but also how Its a bit janky but still acceptable given the size of the studio and ambition.
We also discuss what we had for tea and hipster Linux users
Notes:
Manage the emergency in your city with 112 Operator
Watch out from crime show presenters
A slightly janky but good VR MMO with Zenith: The Last City

Welcome to episode 184
Skazz continual with his Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;birth 3, much better the Re;birth 2 with no dodgy children linking characters. Set in a alternate dimensions during the US video game crash during the 1980s.
TheSuffolkRam has been fighting robots in 1980s Sweden, hiding in buildings and dealing with dodgy AI and very easy gameplay in Generation Zero.
Skazz also talk about the recently released VR MMO Zenith Last City, one of the first proper MMO for VR and is pretty decent, A Sci-fi/Fantasy game currently in Early Access.
We also discuss the future death of Cash and our modern digital life. We also discuss bit rot issues and how stupid the concept of NFT are and a brief detour into screws.
Notes:
Better then the second and no children licking: Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;birth 3
Annoying robots in 1980s Sweden: Generation Zero
A documentary on the end of tradition film starring Keanu Reeves: Side by Side
At last a decent VR MMO: Zenith: The Last City
