If using dried mushrooms, soak them in the hot water for 20-30 minutes. 2. Drain mushrooms. Save the water. Trim any woody/unwanted parts of mushrooms and then chop. If using fresh mushrooms, wash, trim, and chop. If making mushroom gravy, set aside about 1/3 of mushrooms. 3. Preheat oven to 350* F. Line or oil 9x12 pan or 2 loaf pans. 4. Food is love(and shame)
This episode dives into my own journey with disordered eating in the South where food is so important to our culture. Be warned this gets really personal and my language is not perfect. I'm am still struggling and if you are too this may be helpful or may be hard to hear if you are in a tender place. Take care of yourself first and only listen if you have the space. I end the episode with my Granny's chocolate gravy recipe. You read that right. Chocolate. Gravy. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/ramblinbackhome/support
