I originally found these guys when they interviewed Danny Gevitz. After listening to that episode, I’ve been a huge fan and regular listener. I’ve loved following along with the creative club Chicago’s journey and projects. I get up to Chicago more than my home town at this point and have developed a tremendous love for this city. As a photographer and creative who loves Chicago and hearing about other people’s artistic journeys, this podcast and these people are a huge inspiration to me and their way of talking about their processes and projects makes it feel like you’re there with them for the conversation and journey. Gonna be honest. I’m not a podcast person. Or at least maybe the ones I usually listen too. I never make it through a whole episode, but this was really easy to. It didn’t just feel like a bunch of talking but like you were part of a conversation. Really amazing!

If you’re a creative, this podcast is for you! Each episode is an honest conversation between Eric & Steven (and sometimes a guest) about their lives, business, and their art. It’s a rejuvenating and inspiring podcast if you’ve ever felt burnt out or not meeting up to potential. It’s truly a breath of fresh air for those in or desiring to be in the creative industry!

I found Eric on YouTube a while back and stumbled upon this podcast while looking for resources on full time photography. One thing I love about the podcast is that it’s super chill and non chaotic and very educational. Give it a listen.

I’ve listened to two episodes so far and have loved it! This podcast has been so encouraging as a new photographer/creative wanting to grow and develop. It has also genuinely made me laugh out loud as I’m driving and listening. Eric and Steven’s heart for the creative community can be seen throughout!

If you love a coffee house version of photo and video related podcasts then these guys are the way to go. My YouTube dad and Steven Schultz are the most funny, genuine, kindhearted people I know. And their guests are just as engaging. Lots of creative brainpower in one podcast. I laugh constantly and my mind and heart is always full after every episode! Love these guys!

Finally, my YouTube dad makes a podcast and becomes my podcast dad. Does that make Steven my other podcast dad? Maybe my podcast uncle? What title do you want, Steven? Great podcast with some amazing guests! Eric and Steven make excellent hosts with the ability to connect with each of their guests with thoughtful and engaging questions leading to entertaining conversations.

I listen to a wide variety of podcasts, but this one is really makes me feel like I’ve found “my people” when it comes to fellow creatives in the podcast world. Benj Haisch, Mangostreet, and Chris Chu are some of my top favorite photographers/videographers and it’s great to hear an in-depth interview about their stories and experiences. Super inspiring! Longevity in the creative industry is a concept that seems to not be covered enough, so I'm glad this podcast was made to tackle it. I loved the episode featuring Benj.
