Clean Jones Podcast
Great, great, great interview!!!! Cleon is a fantastic speaker. You guys said you could’ve gone a couple of more hours with Cleon. Hell, you could’ve gone a couple of more days!! So awesome to hear those stories and how he spoke about Gil, Agee, Swododa, Grote and the rest of the guys! Thanks for a fantastic interview!! ⚾️⚾️

Great Content, Must Improve Audio Quality
Great interviews but you guys gotta improve audio quality. Turn up the volume and you can’t do an interview outside in the wind

Awesome Interviews
I've really enjoyed listening. I really like the style of interviewing from Steve and Wayne where they like to focus on how a player got to an elite level in baseball and how they got through struggles and doubts. I think the show is awesome and can't wait for next season.

Great Guests
Great podcast, but shorten the banter slightly and keep getting great guests! Enjoyed season 1

The best sports podcast ever!
Wayne and Steve have combined to create the very best sports podcast ever! No joke... EVER! As a lifelong Met fan I can say with authority that these guys get the guests we want to hear from, and most importantly, ask the questions we want asked. In a sound bite world where you hear so many dumb questions asked and rote answers from athletes, Wayne and Steve ask intelligent questions with great humor and insight. I truly hope this podcast will continue. Keep up the awesome work guys!

Great Season
Great podcast! Kept me really into Mets baseball this year, especially when the Mets weren’t winning too much... looking forward to season 2. LGM

A level of bromance I aspire to have
Steve and Wayne have an unbelievable chemistry together, almost to a point where their wives might want to be worried. The interviews are great, and provides a great, humanizing look into the lives of the players we see every day. Great work

Best podcast!
Steve and Wayne are fantastic and I think one of the biggest strengths of the podcast is the unpolished nature of it (it's real and human and goofy sometimes). I enjoy their banter at the start of the show and they do a great job of producing laid back interviews with a lot of players and former players I've never actually heard speak before. As a lifelong Mets fan, it gives me an inside look into Mets baseball that I don't normally get as someone who pretty much just watches the games. I'm going to miss it during the off-season! Keep up the great work Steve and Wayne!

Good stuff
Steve - stop telling Wayne what to say! Work it out beforehand guys. Great interviews. Can you try to talk to Edgardo Alfonzo? Keep it up!

A Great Listen
Steve and Wayne are well prepared and the guests speak candidly about their lives and careers.

Best podcast for Mets fans!!
If you’re a Mets fan this is a must-listen. The interviews are great and the banter between Steve and Wayne is just as good! The Frazier and Nimmo interviews are terrific! I look forward to each episode!

Thx from a Mets family in Birmingham, AL
I'm not from anywhere near the New York area but I've loved the Mets ever since my mom bought me a Doc Gooden t-shirt when I was 7. It's awesome to have stuff like this podcast for Mets fans that are not in New York. Keep up the great work and I'd love to hear Benny Agbayani on the podcast!

DISLOGED IN DEL MAR
Got to tell you , I remember games back as far as Nineteen Hundred and Sixty Four and these guys are the cats pajamas ! Excellent show , good guests and then , ASKING the guests the RIGHT QUESTIONS ! As we get older , we will lose more of the people who played - or, covered - the old Mets . I don’t even know if Marty Noble , or , Dan Castellano are around anymore , but , that’s the type of guest I’d like to hear - in addition to what you’re already giving us . And there’s NO WAY that this show should stop on September 30th . Baseball goes year round - that’s part of its greatness . You should take advantage of that while football and basketball are doing their best to bury themselves. Great job , Rick Wey

Very enjoyable. Eclectic group of Mets guests. A little too much back and forth between Steve & Wayne before they play the interview. Could use a little less of that. Get Jay Horowitz on next season!!!

Really well done podcast
Wayne Randazzo and Steve Gelbs are the bromance team of the New York Mets. If you’re a Mets fan, you know Steve and Wayne. * you also know Wayne’s cousin is an umpire. Anyway, they started RDT (Rain Delay Theater) during rain delays on Instagram. It’s a real thing that a few other teams tried unsuccessfully to copy. These guys are the ORIGINAL. Just listened to episode 1 after listening to episode 0 yesterday ( I’m serious!) - which was actually very cool and so Steve/Wayne! Episode 1 is great. With Brandon Nimmo as their first guest, they asked the right questions and Nimmo delivered the answers. Nice to get a better peek into Nimmo. Very interesting and insightful. Kept my interest the entire time. Looking forward to more. Hope you keep it going in the off season. Snow delay theater ? Can’t wait for #WalkOffWilmer next week.

A Lovely Podcast It Is
It is like grabbing a Met off the bench (current or past) and inviting him into your home for a nice little chat. The right questions are asked, it is lighthearted and fun and totally enjoyable. I look forward to seeing more prominent Met figures come on. Keep up the great work guys!

Love the podcast but......
I happen to love the podcast. Y’all are great hosts and are a lot of fun to listen to. My only complaint is that the sound is weird levels go really high to low and gets quite low at times even when the volume is on high. So....

Gelbs and ‘Dazzo hit it out of the park
This is smart, fun, and casual. Gelbs and Randazzo have great rapport with the guests and as a result, we listeners hear genuine responses. Love these guys! I hope it continues through the off season as well.

A bright spot during some rough seasons
Gelbs and Randazzo have brought some levity and joy to some pretty miserable seasons with their Rain Delay Theater and this subsequent podcast.

Rain delay theater highlight of my week
This podcast is the highlight of my week! Love listening to the inside scoop from people who live and breathe this team. Also awesome to get a personal perspective and see the “human” side of these athletes
metsgirl4ever
Thumbs up
This podcast connects you to the athletes personally and allows you to see a whole new side of them. Steve and Wayne do a great job of using humor and knowledge to put together entertaining episodes every week. Definitely recommend!

Entertaining and informative
I love the Mets, for better or worse, but being out of market means I miss a lot. I love this podcast and the way it helps me learn more about the players and hear from the guys I rarely hear from. Keep up the excellent work!

Great listen for Mets fans!
Very interesting listen on podcasts so far (Nimmo and Flores) Much different than most Mets podcasts out there. Looking forward to future episodes! Would be interested in hearing random interviews (near writers, players, front office, groundskeeper)

More magical than a loogie!
Gelbs and Randazzo are the most natural match since Keith and Elaine. Very entertaining duo that truly understands the pulse of the Mets fanbase.

Ya Gotta Listen
Lifelong Mets fan and Binghamton native. Having seen many players go from Binghamton to New York, and having worked in local media and interviewed them, this is great for me to learn more about the players and get a feel for their personality. Any Mets fan, any baseball fan, would be foolish not to listen and subscribe!

Rain Delay Theaterrrrrrrrrr...podcast 👍👍
Always enjoy listening to insights and tidbits from Steve and Wayne on-air. This podcast presents the listener with not only their research capabilities to give us intriguing interviews but allows them to expand upon this quality. There is a welcoming, laid back feel to it as if they’ve invited you to come over and hang out in the garage for a bit. I always enjoy getting a little glimpse into the ballplayer - the person. Good stuff especially if you love baseball and if you like the Mets.

Premiere is premier!
Love that you have created a podcast devoted to the Mets and baseball news. The interview with Brandon Nimmo was fun and informative. We tend to think of celebrities and pro athletes as superstars. Brandon showed that he is like us mere mortals; human, with the same ups and downs that life presents us. Looking forward to future episodes. This is a Mets fan dream come true! Thank you!

50 minutes v well spent
Made for some great Metro listening! Audibly laughed at that “tears of joy” line at the end — got some looks, worth it though. Looking forward to next week :-)
