The title describes everything discussed. Additional explanation on the white boy of the month discussion may also be influenced by my internalised white supremacy. My understanding of life as a black lesbian leads me to believe that dating/marrying a white man would increase my social mobility, the social approval I receive and my ability to enter some spaces of privilege that I wouldn't be able to access at all on my own.
