Deterrence aims to dissuade adversaries from taking certain actions by convincing them that the costs or risks outweigh the potential benefits. So, how does AI, particularly machine learning, serve as a force multiplier in the development and application of deterrence? Considering the role of AI in intelligence and military deterrence operations, how do algorithms enhance real-time human-machine interfacing and contribute to the overall deterrent effect against potential threats?
