Then talked about the massive upset of Kansas State over #3 Oklahoma on the road plus loses for both KU and Missouri as well. Then Finally wrapped it up talking some MLB playoffs giving thoughts on some teams who could make a run plus breakdown games from Tuesday.

In this first podcast special I start out talking about the huge late in the game coaching mistake by Denver Broncos head coach Vic Fangio in last night's Monday Night Football contest against the Tennessee Titans. Then overall thoughts on the opening win for the defending super bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs. Then talked about the big time letdowns over the weekend from Kansas State, Kansas, Iowa State and the Big 12 in general to open the college football season. Followed by quickly talking about the recent week of success for the red hot Kansas City Royals before wrapping things up with my quick thoughts and prediction for this Sunday's week 2 matchup between the Chiefs and Chargers in LA.

On today's 200th show I'm joined for the entire show by Blake Schnieders a show producer at Sports Radio 810 and ESPN Kansas City as Blake and myself talked about the Kansas City Chiefs this week putting the franchise tag on defensive tackle Chris Jones, Tom Brady moving on from the New England Patriots and signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, plus just talking about any other big free agent signings or trades in the NFL from this week.

On today's show I had special guest Mac Moore on the show and we started out talking about the impact of the Coronavirus in the world of sports. Segment two Mac and I talked about former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski recently signing to join the professional wrestling ranks in the WWE. Then we discussed about Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes explaining on The Shop on HBO that he didn't know how to read defenses until half way into the 2018 season. Then wrapped it up talking about ESPN wanting to bring back legendary broadcaster Al Michaels to doing NFL games on Monday Night Football.

On today's show I talked about the Kansas Jayhawks close hard fought win last Saturday at in state rival Kansas State. In segment two I discussed about the rough season its been for the Kansas State Wildcats on the hardwood as they've suffered its worst season in school history with a record 21 loses and counting. Then talked about a couple of coaching staff changes for Chris Klieman at Kansas State. Then wrapped it up talking about not buying into the rumors of Tom Brady leaving the New England Patriots for another team in free agency.

On today's show I started things out giving my strong thoughts on the NFL giving another chance to troubled linebacker Vontaze Burfict. Segment two talked about the Kansas Jayhawks being considered the clear cut best team in college basketball plus thoughts on the rough goes with Kansas State plus today's game between the two in state rivals. Segment three I talked about the Kansas City Chiefs placing the franchise tag on pro bowl defensive tackle Chris Jones and on his future with the team plus the future of Sammy Watkins with the Chiefs. Then wrapped it all up talking about the first few weeks of the return of the XFL football league.

On today's show I talked the first couple segments about the ongoing drama of the Houston Astros sign stealing scandal first reacting to Astros players plus owner Jim Crane giving out apologies plus other reactions. Then discussing the lack of effort and work MLB commissioner Rob Manfred has made at this point. Then talking about the NFL bringing back Cleveland Browns star defensive end Myles Garrett after serving long suspension for hitting Steelers Mason Rudolph in the head with helmet back in November. Then I wrapped up the show talking about if Andy Reid has become the greatest coach in Chiefs history after guiding the team to its first super bowl title in 50 years.

On today's show before I got to the opening topic I took time to talk about and remember former Blue Valley High school football head coach Eric Driskell on the 3 year anniversary since he passed away from a brain aneurysm. Then got going talking about what to expect and look for during this offseason for the Kansas City Chiefs on who they will bring back or let go. Then I talked some Kansas State basketball discussing about where the mindset is for guard Cartier Diarra and Bruce Weber deciding to change his coaching approach for the rest of the season trying to turn around a rough 9-15 record. Then I talked about Mel Tucker's bad approach of saying he's committed to being the head football coach at Colorado then days later taking the Michigan State job. Finally wrapped the show up discussing about possible changes with the playoff system in Major League Baseball.

On today's show I talked about the Kansas City Chiefs winning super bowl 54 against the San Francisco 49ers for the team's first super bowl title in 50 years. Then talked about how 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is to blame for the loss to the Chiefs instead of head coach Kyle Shanahan. Then recapping and playing sound bites from the Chiefs super bowl parade from Wednesday. Then wrapped it up talking about Derek Jeter getting snubbed from becoming the second player to be voted unanimous into the baseball hall of fame.
