The last episode is a raw affair, as the pair unite for the first time in 9 months. In an unedited, anything goes edition, they talk about Darlington's railway history, past regrets, Hitachi's Skynet-esque takeover of the world and memories of Radged-Packet Season 1.... Also Paul laughs at a cat walking about

After the critical acclaim the duo received for their impromptu film chat in the first episode, Paul and David dedicate a whole episode to talking about as many films as humanly possible. They discuss fave films, actors and directors, movie disappointments, joyous cinematic experiences, superhero flicks, the viewing enhancing investment of 4DX and Blu-Ray, their own idea for a Hollywood blockbuster and various other stuff that goes off at a tangent.
So turn down the lights, grab some popcorn, make yourself comfortable and enjoy this comprehensive guide to filums.

Paul and David tried to replicate the iconic rock idols of yesteryear with a trip to Berlin (their first of a trilogy) in 2016... In the first of a series of Berlin specials released sporadically over the coming months, the pair talk about their three days of immersing themselves in the delights the city had to offer; including an in depth discussion about their VIP plane journey there, their enduring first few hours of exploration, the meeting that finally opened Berlin up to them and how fate brought them together with a prominent cultural figure in the city, who incidentally is next week's guest.

For whatever reason David & Paul decided to kick off 2021 by trying to assess their place in society. Sadly their ability to convey this message was not up to scratch and the episode that attempted to explore this grand issue was ditched and given to red brick universities so they could research (mock) what happens when lowly serfs try to venture into their turf.
In its place, the pair decided to broadcast two episodes of incoherent ramblings dedicated to all that was talked about in the forgotten episode. The first of which (episode 5 - part one) was recorded the week after the original abomination, however due to a series of technical issues this second part was recorded weeks later, giving the pair even longer to reflect.
After making sure they’re both OK, David & Paul reminisce about the remainder of THAT show, reflecting on prejudice against cravat wearers, Liberal Democrat related insults at the WMC, working from home, exploitation at the fish factory, an ode to the bread squeezer and more...

In the first week of January, David and Paul recorded their first podcast of 2021. The show aimed to tackle the question of the duo's place in society, their family, the economic hierarchy and even the world. However, the show turned out to be absolutely rubbish (see, there is some quality control) and the tapes were destroyed and their ashes scattered across the four corners of the Earth.
In the first of a two part special, join David and Paul as they relive the highs and lows of that unbroadcast episode and discuss comedic critique during a family Zoom quiz, snacking on saveloys post-rat nest obliteration, wink murder, taxis and masculinity and loads more... There's even a resurrection of the duo's failed improv comedy show 'Cheese 'n Taters'.

David & Paul are having a lil’ break til early 2021… However, they weren’t going to go without leaving a little something under the tree for you (not human excrement). The pair have whipped up this cinnamon sweet festive podcast that can be enjoyed by you and all your family (as long as they are over 16) as you eat your turkey and sprouts with one another (via Zoom) this Christmas Day. It’s a show full of wholesome content but with the uneasy, raw ambience of a works Christmas doo on Black-Eyed Friday.
In this episode (which has been made extra appealing to the nostalgic sentiments of 28-34 year olds) the Yuletide yobs talk about their favourite Christmas movies, the leading figures in the world of Christmas, Event Horizon-esque office parties, the concept of the season as a whole and their resolutions for the New Year. There is also an extra special X-mas mash up, complete with analysis.
David & Paul wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and will see you in 2021…

Paul speaks out for the first time about winning Family Fortunes in a revealing, in-depth discussion... He chats with David about his life as a graphic designer for the stars pre-Family Fortunes, the lengths he had to go through to get onto the show, how he overcame embarrassing himself on national TV to triumph, getting caught up in an anti-media protest with Andi Peters whilst at the ITV studios, being labelled a NE hate figure (alongside Sting and Dominic Cummings) on Twitter and how winning the show has changed his life.

After getting sidetracked reflecting on the first episode and digesting the feedback from the affluent forces that govern the podcast world, David & Paul begin discussing the world of the supernatural. This second instalment capitalises on the pair’s paranormal expertise as they talk about the origins of their world famous hashtag #SHOWYOURSELF, David’s extraordinary ability to communicate with the dead, things that go bump in the night in Darlington’s Quaker cemetery and the ‘physics’ behind ghosts. The show also ends on a chilling tale and of course… A good mash-up.

David & Paul are two blokes who have decided to have their midlife crisis in the form of a podcast. A podcast they hope will develop form and structure as time progresses and, for the sake of our genre obsessed society, are labelling as 'comedy'... but that's only because 'pathetic' is not a genre (yet).
In Episode 1 the pair bring people up to speed with who they are and what they've been up to during lockdown, as well as unintentionally drifting off into an 80's film review. They discuss ET's amazing telecommunications device that NASA couldn't think of, the pitfalls of cycling and queuing outside Halfords during lockdown, Nerfing the sadness away and anything else that sprang to mind.
Enjoy. x
