As an HR leader I find a lot of the “standard” HR materials and resources about race to be sanitized, high level and uninspiring. Race Invaders is a gritty examination of the issue of race in America through the lived experience of two smart and thoughtful men. As a white man, I’ve learned more about the issues around race from this podcast than I would in a lifetime of “standard” materials. Bonus : there are also discussions of other issues of diversity like mental health!

Alok and Tim have a totally unique perspective and style in the social justice dialogue - hard core, hilarious, exploratory, irreverent, personal. A mix of current news (stupid things politicians say, Get Out movie analysis...) & deep dives into really abstract but critical topics (patriarchy meets racial injustice, what *is* race and racism...). A must listen for those interested in what's next in race and social justice thought.

Honest and unflinching discussions about race and racism and bigotry in America, from perspectives that are rarely heard. This is that dialogue about race that we keep saying needs to happen in America. Listen, learn, and become a better person.

Tim and Alok take serious concepts and issues dealing with race in the USA, explain them, break them down AND give steps to act. I don't know what more you could want from a podcast that is working full speed at destroying the kyrarchy. well, I think I do know. But the guys need 25 more raitings and reviews for that to happen.

Thanks for approaching challenging topics with knowledge, humor, humility, and humanity (alliteration unintentional). I'm excited to see what's next. Keep 'em coming, pls.

It's been called "Two Asian Guys Talk About S***," but I might to describe it as "Social Justice 101." Before you guys get all freaked out about the concept of social justice, liberals; OMG the dreaded PC monster that lives under your bed, hang on a minute. We're not talking a couple of granola crunching vegans here. Tim and Alok have seen some stuff and done some stuff, and they explain issues in a way that we wish a lot of people would. So if you ever wanted to know why so many people are mad or--yeah, *easily offended*--Tim and Alok break it down for you. Smart, rough, and funny, these two Asian guys just might give you a new perspective on topics that are very much concerns of the moment. If nothing else, listening to them will give you the edge the next time you're in a fight about politics at the dinner table or trying to impress that hot new hire in human resources.
