I started listening to this podcast having missed hearing the hosts voice on Dumtedum. Wonderful discovery and I am now ploughing through books with so much relish and love all the recommendations!

I love this podcast. I have found so many books to read and enjoy that I never would have without her reviews.

When I listen to Philippa’s book reviews I feel like I’m visiting with a friend. Our reading tastes are similar and I always end up adding books to my TBR List. In fact, since following and listening to her, my list has grown exponentially. I like every part of the podcast and I can’t wait to listen to the latest episode. Thank you, Philippa!

I so thank the day this book junkie found this podcast. I am fairly new to it but it enhances my Monday morning walk. Only problem is that although free to listen, buying the books can be costly. Worth it though.

Philippa is like the friend you’d call if you needed cheering up—and maybe a good book to read. Out of the several books she reviews each episode, at least one usually goes straight on my to-read list. Philippa gets straight to the point with each of her reviews—the book’s blurb, a bit of information about the author, and her honest reaction—in a chatty, enthusiastic way. And her interviews with authors are interesting and fun.

I binged all the current episodes in a day. I love the honest and enthusiastic reviews, and she covers many books I don’t hear about on other podcasts. I’d be happy to listen to hour-long episodes, but I understand it’s meant to be quick reviews.
