It seems to be a sort of accepted thing...the most strident homophobes are closeted gays! the idea has never sat super well with me. so i found a super smart person to talk to us about why its a crap idea. we also spend some time talking more broadly about how our society does a terrible job of studying questions related to marginalized groups.
