In Episode 6 we meet Rochelle (she/her), Rochelle is the Vice President of Liberal Pride in Victoria. Rochelle brings some fabulous insights as a proud trans woman from her experiences in student politics, to her journey to being a queer person within the Liberals. Rochelle shares how she is inspired by Janet Rice and Louise Pratt due to their lived experience, and the direct connection Rochelle shares with them both having trans partners.

In Episode 5 we meet Ethan (he/him). Ethan is a fabulous former council candidate, Reason Party member, and volunteer coordinator. Ethan opens up about his journey into politics, the refreshing values of the Reason Party, and the intersection of being both Jewish and within the Queer community. In this episode you will also hear about Ethan's experiences, both as a candidate and about the books that shaped his journey.

In Episode 4 we meet Hannah (she/her), Hannah is the founder of the Young Animal Justice Party (AJP) caucus in Victoria. Hannah brings some fabulous insights to the podcast on her episode talking about her commitment to politics and veganism and also what the world is like as a queer person in the AJP.

In episode 3 we meet Josh (he/him), Josh is the Co-Convenor of National Rainbow Labor. Josh shares their personal experience of conversion therapy, what drove him to participating in politics. Josh highlights the challenges of entering politics as a young person person, and the difficulties of participation.

In Episode 2 we deep dive into the Queer Greens Victoria and their fabulous convenor Ricki Spencer. Ricki is a fabulous Trans, First Nations Women with a Disability who shares her journey with us on the Podcast.   We deep dive into the topics of gendered professions, the challenges of the political system and the work the Australian Greens are doing to increase the representation of LGBTI people across all levels of government.

Dylan shares their personal story, their journey to being the proud Queer person they are today. Dylan shares their reflections from discovering their sexuality at school, to being a council candidate and everything in between. Dylan discusses the real highs of being a queer candidate and the lows, the support, and the barriers.
