We talk a bit about the new viking movie that's apparently out in the US. Also we discuss the correct pronunciation of the word "crayon." We called Teddy, but unforunately I screwed up the recording so you couldn't hear anything he said. Don't forget to call us and leave a message at (509) 293 4983. Introducing Jonathan! He may or may not become a regular on the show; we haven't decided yet. Anyway, on this show we talk about breathing through your mouth, Ben and Jonathan's trip to Alicante, and we take a live call! Don't forget to call us and leave a message at (509) 293 4983! Sorry, no show this week. We recorded but things didn't work out. Mostly you couldn't hear Ben's mic during the majority of the show. We're leaving for Madrid so won't be able to record for another 9ish days. Again, we're sorry--don't hate us. For those of you that called in over the past week, don't worry. We'll get to your calls on the next show. Download "Episode 7:No Show" Or subscribe to the RSS feed.

The long-awaited interview with Timoteo is finally here. Enjoy. I was bored pretty much all day today, so I went ahead and did the interview without Ben. He might kill me, but then again he might not be able seeing as though I'm a viking. Anyway, if he's mad about it I'm sure we'll be able to get Timoteo on the show again. Remember to review on the show in the iTunes music store! Just search for "Pure Toast" and we're the only thing that comes up. And we're BACK (after a long[ish] break)! "It's been a while since the last show; this time we talk about iPods, toast, and VIKINGS." Okay, so we didn't record yesterday like I said we would, but that's because I was in a bad mood and slept all day instead. We still haven't talked about setting a record schedule, but that's okay. I hope we can get at least one more show up before next weekend when we take off for a week to Madrid. Perhaps we'll even record from there--if you're lucky! We love you, listeners. Stick with us. Introducing Roomate Robert (we aren't allowed to say his last name)! In this episode we talk about gold, my fellow vikings, and how awesome my name is. It was a lot of fun to have Robert on the show, so we'll definitely have him on every now and then. We've got a short interview with our friend Melissa and talk about some (hopefully) upcoming interviews. I mention a bit about Never Not Funny as well. In this episode: "Craig apologizes to a friend; plus we were able to get an exclusive interview with a brachiosaurus! We also talk a bit about podcasts that Craig listens to. Sorry about the buzzing sound. No money = crappy sound." Here are the links to the podcasts we talk about: The Sound of Young America Jawbone Radio The Best Show on WFMU We forgot to mention how to contact us at the end of the show... (509) 293 4983 or [email protected] If you're reading the blog you probably already knew that, but I feel stupid for leaving it out of the show. Episode 3! In this episode we read and listen to a handful of listener mail (including a brilliant synopsis of The Princess Bride), talk about Ben's "ocho gauge" piercing, discuss wearing neckties with hoodzips, and hear some music from Jonathan Coulton and ocremix.org. I also mention a bit about Jawbone Radio and The Sound of Young America, two of my favorite podcasts. Send us your dreams and tell us what you think we should do with the giant spool that Robert "salvaged" from being thrown away. What should we do about our phone number? GWUD? IZUF? HYVE? Also if you have any idea how to contact a brachiosaurus, any information would be great. In this episode we discuss our immediate popularity, "Robert's" soccer ball, movies you can purchase at Wal-Mart, and sales tax exemption. You'll also hear a new introduction from our friend Teddy, and some of the best and worst decisions we've ever made. Now that we've recorded two episodes and I've had to listen to my own voice for long periods of time while editing, I've noticed that my lisp is much more pronounced than I had originally thought. Perhaps next week we'll talk about my options are for curing my speech problems. If you have any experience with speech therapy, let us know what you think!
