I knew nothing of hockey...I would go see my local very minor regional league team play on occasion for a free fun time since tickets were often given away in the mid 2000s, probably because it was an indoor league...yet this crew of busted nuts and minor league calendar pitchmen managed to wrap us up in it all with sincerity and hilarity... PS-let us not forget the timeless classics the pucknuts bonus pod gave us...from bugging the stash, which way is which on the commode and is mini golf really the same thing as miniature golf... The sheer variety of topics and humor.. it's amazing. There are detractors who claim there is no hockey talk. These are the fools among us. Ming, Walt, Bry, Sunday Jeff, (Comic Book Men, Tell 'Em Steve-Dave, I Sell Comics) and occasionally, Brian Quinn (of Impractical Jokers, What Say You?, The Tenderloins, Tell 'Em Steve-Dave) are truly among the best of us.

This show was great I everyday I wish they would end I sell comics and Bring back the NUTS. christmas is coming up, dont let me down guys!

I love this podcast. I literally did a little dance when the latest episode appeared (#44). As a sports fan, I love the humor and heated discussions. Plus, these last three episodes have literally made me into a Devils fan. I was not such a hockey fan before (but a big smodcast fan), but this podcast got me to appreciate the sport, and it has definitely made the 2012 playoffs a ton of fun. Thank you puck nuts!!!!

Love that the Smodcast has a hockey show. Hope they still keep it going after the Rangers knock out the Devils. LGR! Walt and Jeff are great on the show.

Pucknuts was actually very enjoyable/funny/relevant to hockey. infinitely better without Bry Johnson.

Come on Walt, this is the first time I've listened to Puck Nuts, I listen to Tell 'em Steve Dave every week, and this show has me mega amped up for this season!

The first 20 were golden! And the last 20 were just as good just the same. Once we lost Walt to his devils depression the show wasn't quite the same. Come on guys it's a new season and a new team and I miss seeing busted nutz on the blog. Maybe some more ladies will send pics this time around. Love it!!!!

I'm gonna miss you guys. I hope you come back with something else to fill the void in our hearts. Closing song made me misty. And I don't cry. Not even at talking animal movies (like Walt... ya mo).

The show works very well as a sports only show. Ming and Jeff are great. Walt is awesome when he is talking sports. I love tesd but this works better without Bryan

It is great to hear that Bryan is back and doing well, he really does add something to Puck Nuts overall, but I also liked last week's mini-episode, but don't get me wrong I prefer the regular episodes. As a Carolina Hurricanes fan i was wondering what you thought of the All-Star Game. Keep up the good work guys, I am also a big fan of Tell em Steve Dave.

As a Chicago born Hawks fan, the passion these guys show for their team along with their humor have made it cool to be a Devils fan. I'm officially adopting them as my team in the Eastern Conf!! Thanks for the pod as well as TESD. You guys rock.

This Podcast has gotten me interested in Hockey, sorry Walt but not the Devils, being from NJ and liking the Flyers I'm sure doesn't sit well (listen to some of the Pods) im 5 minutes from Philly. But Puck Nuts does give me topics to start a conversation with Jeff; when my girl and I go to Jay & Silent Bob's Secret Stash on Main Street in Redbank on Sunday's... And for Q, "Fuc k Your Kids" is still hilarious!

Anybody that thinks that this podcast doesn't have enough to do with Hockey just doesn't get it. These guys are just having fun talking about many things. One common thing that they have is a love for the NJ Devils. The highest compliment I can pay to them is that I haven't enjoyed hockey for almost 10 years. Them talking about it has me looking up information again. I even go to the Devils page and check out scores and the such. Bottom line this is podcasting at it's best.

I LOVE this show, turned me into a devil fan. Perfect types of people, Ming is just rocking it. Walt is my favorite on any podcast on the smodcast network. Bryan is great and Sunday Jeff is too cool.

I have no interest at all in hockey or the New Jersey Devils, however I really enjoy this show. But I am also a huge Tell 'Em Steve-Dave fan and would listen to these guys talk about anything. Awesome

This has elements of a good podcast somewhere in this cornucopia of randomness. Rarely any kind of sports information or insight and at the threat of any, it seems to devolve into ball busting. The best parts are the loosely based sports stuff. Would be more worthwhile if "Tell Em Steve Dave" had 20 minutes of sports talk in it.

Hey guys, just letting you know you have fans out there. Hailing from the midwest as a Blues fan I know the ups and downs with your home team. I love the spirit when Ming has it and Walt just crushes it each time, tenacious little fella. Honestly if you talked hockey the whole time I don't think the show would work. Keep up the laughs and banter and Bryan picking on Walts highs and lows and everyone else teaching Bry the game of hockey. Love SteveDave and the smodcast line up. This show definitely improved after Ming started running things. Johnson even works out pretty well on the show now. Just please never bring Quinn back. I still think it would be a good idea to cover the entire NHL. Let's face it. The Devils are the worst team in the league right now and only deserve to be involved in a discussion if they're the comic relief.

I'm a big hockey fan and laugh so hard while listening. Also an avid listener of most of the Smod pods. I have no problem with the format and topics. Keep it up!

This show is absolutely unlistenable. Unfunny/uninformative blabbering. No idea how it is getting downloads. If I could give it no stars I would.

Fan of the show mainly because I'm a TESD fan and like Bry know very little of the NHL. But this podcast has sparked an interest in learning.Though the Devil's rough start to the season is obviously hurting the show. Understandable though because being a devoted fan to a sports team, I know how a rough patch can be depressing. Its in these times I tend to fall back on my love of the sport in general and look at stories and such going on that might interest me. Perhaps you guys can spend time of course discussing the Devil's and how they are doing pros and cons but also look up other NHL news that might be of interest. I know you guys have tried and there seems to be some parties not into the idea but please give it a try. Perhaps go with stories that impact the NHL as a whole and not individual teams. Or if you are true hockey fans and the Devil's season doesn't seem to improve you can look at teams you would rather go all the way compared to those you wouldn't. Being an NFL fan if my Steelers are doing horrid I take comfort in routing for teams that are playing their rivals.

This podcast rocks my world. It's TESD with a slant on Walt's passion, unfortunately the Devil's are tanking this season. I think the podcast would have a lot more passion if they were actually doing a little better. This pod makes my tuesday. I wake up in the morning with a skip in my step knowing there'll be a new puck nuts when I get back home. Love Bry, Ming, Walt and Sunday Jeff!

Bry, Walt, Ming and sunday Jeff do a great job of talking about the Devils. Ming chen reins in the wildness of this romp through NHL fans views on the league, the players and the fans. Bry and sunday Jeff try to control the roller coaster that is Walt. Come for the sports talk, stay for the laughs.

As a fan of the Smodcast network and more specifically Tell'em Steve Dave and NHL hockey this is an excellent mix of funny and informative. It makes the geek and sports fan in me happy at the same time which is usually impossible. The one thing I think that would make it more accesible to people is branching off into more NHL news. Yes, they do cover the New Jersey Devils extesivly and they cover them well since they are all huge Devils fans but I would like to hear more about other teams, even if it just the teams the Devils play in that week.
