Today I’m talking with Krista Miller, a friend I have known for years. She is a virtual summit expert whose proven strategies through Summit in a Box have helped me and other clients host highly profitable summits.

Today, Krista shares her eventful journey as an entrepreneur so far. From launching a website in an attempt to offer design and development services, which eventually turned into her web development business. From launching XXX to eventually developing Summit in a Box. Here are four points Krista did that helped her get to where she is today: 

• Recognizing opportunities and gaps in the market that she could make an income out of, and coming from a space of service 
• Recognizing when she has a good idea and acting on it despite her fears and hesitations 
• Developing an organized process right from the beginning 
• Surrounding herself with the right people who you connect and align with, and listening to their feedbacks and experiences  

Krista first left her corporate job because she wanted to leave her toxic work environment. Before leaving she had a goal of how much she needed to make from her “side hustle” before you could completely leave corporate life, and from there, she let her skills, opportunities, and the needs of her clients and the market lead the evolution of her business to where she is today.  

Your experience in starting and developing your business might be similar to Krista’s or it might be something completely different. Yet no matter what your journey is, her story shared in this episode is full of moments where you will say, “I didn’t know you could do that!” It will encourage you to get started and keep going and will give you hope because if she did it, so can you.
