Best place for the latest in critical thinking on today’s market and related topics. Thanks for keeping it real. And thanks for sharing Ed with us.

Ed is great
I thoroughly enjoy listening to Ed - he gives me hope that more of our young people can see what’s happening in this country. His insight into the markets, and what may be going on with AI is (I believe) on point. I especially like “Simply Put” - keep it up, Ed.

Arrogant
Listened to the episode with Josh B. Seems smart, only to be undermined by his arrogant statement suggesting, with a tone of arrogance, data center buildout job creation is more important than protecting communities from the very thing they are building. Arrogant.

Sound like I heard this guy before Ed zitron. Nvidia has backlog of sales why would they force their customer and why does everyone else do the same. What leverage would Nvidia have to force buying more than what they need

Ed’s Politics Overshadow Market News
I’m a longtime Prof G listener and find tremendous value in his insights. When listening to a markets show, I find myself navigating two perspectives: economic market guidance vs. Ed’s politics. Maybe time for Ed to host an opinion show?

Is Mr. G off all summer???
I find the show interesting even though I don’t ALWAYS completely agree with their views. Also the show isn’t great without him (It’s called Prof G right?) can’t even tell from icon if Scott isn’t on show anymore!

If you want to listen to an out of touch old Zionist and a young guy who hasn’t done anything, buddy I’ve got the pod for you.

Only here for Ed
I suspect I am one of many who rushes to fast forward and avoid Scott’s self obsessed, cringe commentary. His snide and disparaging comment that Ed has a ‘vagina’ due to his drink of choice was unfunny and off-putting. Total frat/tech/trader bro posturing that demeans an otherwise excellent podcast.

Ed is a problem
Scott is great. Ed seems like he is trying too hard to be taken seriously. He lacks life experience and overcompensates.
Also, his forced laughter makes me want to punch him through my iPhone.

Prof G is cringe
Can’t listen to this old man with “jokes” that never land and cringe. Ed needs his own show.

Ed alone is a tough listen
How do we get a feed with only episodes where Scott is on? Is this not the Prof G Markets show? I’ve grown tired of Ed’s insufferable negative rants that are at this point very repetitive. I don’t care for his “life advice” either. I only listen to the episodes Scott joins.

Information inundation
There are far too many sources of various information. Voice saturation makes everyone scream into the pillow that is the attention economy. Thank you for bringing informed voices to the table!

Great show
Solid show. Solid insight. Two great guys with the occasional great guest. However, some guests speak like the audience is full of idiots. It is Prof G Markets, c’mon. Love to read comments of people triggered by Ed. “The future is now, old man” and that is not actually age specific. Prof G does not always recognize some of his boomer ways. Don’t call your kid every day. C’mon man. Yeah I am sure the ladies your kid is with love that

Listening to Ed is embarrassing. Here’s a nepo young man ( research his grandfather & father’s fabulous wealth), indoctrinated at Princeton, supporter of Mandani, a Subaru guy and anti Zionist.

How boring can a podcast be?
I once used to listen to this regularly. I stopped listening and auto downloads around two years ago as I got tired of Scott Galloway and his pontificating self aggrandizing lessons. I came back today(12/8/2025) to see what the show is like now. MY GOD it is so bad. And when discussing topics such as education, children and class divides are so basic and meaningless shows of virtue. “We must do more!” and “we have to improve education” blah blah blah. All bland calls for “doing something” and little more than vague ideas. So tiresome that I had to come back here and joyfully give this one star when it only deserves ½ star. I live in NYC and hope to god I never run into Ed at a bar; he seems like an insufferable bore.

Sloppy AI lab safety & P(doom) hand-waving: Chicken Little mathematics students, show us your work!
Nick Bostrom interview: AI lab’s sloppy safety protocols are matched by AI lab workers’ sloppy P(doom) framing.
Math and physics profs often use the term “hand-waving” to refer to vague explanations lacking precision, or to critique thinking or explanations that lack mathematical rigor, that gloss over important aspects of a topic without rigor.
For Chicken Little P(doom)-ers, this could be called “wing-flapping”, where “P(doom) is a vague concept dressed up as a formula.
For the gaggle of Chicken Little mathematicians at the AI companies crying, “The Sky is Falling” i.e, P(doom), can you puleeez for the love of gawd:
1) Define “doom” precisely?
2) Lay out the P(robability) formula in P(doom) in exact terms?
3) Provide the assumptions and numerical values that “calculate” your particular “The Sky is Falling” number?
Or as we were told in our exams: Don’t just show us the answer, show us your work!
If you can’t, it’s all just chickens flapping their wings.

Long time listener, loved the show at first. However, it has become super stagnant and SOOOo repetitive. No longer worth my time.

Ed Isn’t An Economist
Increasingly we’re hearing more and more from Ed (someone with no formal training in economics) and less and less from Scott. I can’t help thinking how much better this podcast would be if Scott had hired a young, enthusiastic economist as co-host instead of a classics major who keeps repeating the same “vibes-based” statements (likely sourced from his “research” using ChatGPT) no matter how many times podcast guests gently correct him. I unsubscribed from daily Ed-only episodes and only listen to the episodes where Scott is present.

Favorite Podcast
I enjoy this Podcast, but please refrain from podcasting about your money. It’s disgusting truthfully. Want to understand why the average American is rejecting Capitalism just listen to Scott discuss burning 8-10 annual teacher or nurse salaries a month. No offense, just shut up.

Rarely has one show been so wrong
The hosts on this show have been banging the drum on the “ai bubble popping” for years and take no accountability as it doesn’t happen. They just keep banging on and don’t acknowledge they have been wrong for years straight. It’s gotten embarrassing

Excellent interview with Gabriel Zucman
I really appreciated Ed’s interview with Gabriel Zucman! It was great to learn the detailed, strategic financial reasons behind California's Proposition 40. Finding objective information has been difficult, given the controversy and fear the measure is generating among both informed and uninformed here in CA.
Wealth inequality is a massive problem that our country constantly misunderstands, even though it actively threatens our living standards, democracy, and freedoms. Using a platform centered on money and markets to break this down is a really meaningful way to wake more people up from our fantasies about wealth and power. Please keep asking guests like Gary Stevenson and Gabriel Zucman to help us see what is going on.
Finally, Ed conducted the interview beautifully; he listened to Zucman without interruption and asked relevant questions that allowed the guest to make clear, compelling arguments while seamlessly moving the conversation along Great work, Ed!

Great show!
I’ll raise it to 5 stars when Ed learns what “begs the question” means.

Sometimes good and an underserved market
Comments like Aswath Damodaran saying “I’m an ai optimist, I think there’s going to be a market for ai” and generally letting Ed Zitron loose with his Skip Bayless style commentary makes me question my time use. I’d imagine you guys think this anti-ai branding is an asset to the show, but I find it insufferable and nauseating. That kind of dogma in presentation is the last thing market participants want/need.

Used to be great
This review hurts because I used to listen to every episode. It used to be a market show with good advice, balanced takes and guests on the market, a pretty clear left political lean but they were up front with it, and a lot of humor. Now literally every single episode is about the market is collapsing, it’s the top of the market, AI is a bubble and everything is negative. At some point the market will go down and Ed will say “I told you so” but the market always goes down so it feels like he’s just trying to be the person who “got it right”. Tried to keep listening for a while but it’s too repetitive and negative now.

Bear Market Podcast
Just read the titles of each episode - what used to be a data driven market commentary podcast is now a bear market alarmism podcast. Everything is a bubble, doom is imminent, the walls are closing in, everything is terrible. Meanwhile, a multimillionaire advises that you should invest in real estate in Aspen.

Losing white rhinos
29 year old male working in finance. I giggle with my friends, calling ourselves “white rhinos” thanks to Prof G. I credit him for the man I am today. He molds how I think about and approach life. He challenges the way I think and act. He even got me to vote democratic for president one year!
However this is the final straw. If you were to close your eyes and listen to this show, you would have ZERO clue what is going on in markets. This show used to call balls and strikes but now it just fear mongers, crediting Trump and AI companies for everything that does and COULD go wrong, and discrediting everything they do when things go right. Despite everything bad that is happening. Believe it if not markets are up and even if we got a 20% correction you’d still be up. You don’t need to ignore the flaws, but every episode is one big “gotcha”.
This show ought to hire someone with completely different views as Ed to maintain its integrity. A role I wish I was qualified for.
The goal used to be influencing young men and women to be more politically neutral and open to new ideas. That worked for a while using my friend group as a case study. 5 d1 lacrosse kids from the east coast. If that sounds privileged, trust your instincts.
I am too much of a sucker to give up on Prof G as he is forever a role model. But I’m officially out in Ed’s market show

Usually Right, Sometimes Wrong
Listen daily/weekly. Typically love the guests but the dude they had on late this week landed flat. Pick a side, fren. Listening to you made me wonder where your money is invested. Spoiler alert — not with general markets.
Tin Ear No More
Not what people want
Used to love this show and was so excited to see it go weekly. Turns out an unfiltered Ed daily is unbearable. If I wanted to listen to a misinformed socialist who’s never actually been in business preach endlessly about business and politics, I’d call my parents. Report on the markets, not your own agendas.

Audio is so quiet!
I play many talk shows on my iPhone and Bluetooth to my car during drives. Most shows I keep on volume level 10 which is normal for radio and most podcasts. I have to turn this show up to 19 or 20 and when I get texts it makes my ears hurt because of how loud I have to play this show. Please level out your audio and record at a louder level or talk louder into your mics!

Solid discussion
I just like the way they approach the process of the markets and the people they Interview who have significant insights. This is a great way for the average common non-Stock Broker non-economist to catch up on what’s going on in the world and how it influences finance and investing. They are also lighthearted with great levity. That makes the listening time very enjoyable.

Very good podcast
We live in a horrific idiotic society, and this podcast is a ray of hope

Hims and Hers
Very interesting…one aside..being a woman in my 70s who fought for the rights of women I think it extremely interesting that the concept was approached from a male’s perspective inasmuch as it started with erectile distinction. For the emphasis on young men today we are - at least from a medical standpoint- treating women as second class citizens. But bravo for the reporting

Used to be a daily must listen. Now it’s a daily complaining agenda
This show used to be appointment listening for me. Now it’s the same three topics on rotation: income inequality, Elon, Trump. The irony is they’ll spend a segment ripping mainstream media for being a mouthpiece for the powerful, then turn around and do the exact same thing from the other direction. It’s not analysis anymore, it’s a platform. It’s why I stopped consuming traditional mainstream media and unfortunately why I am now choosing to not listen to this podcast anymore.
I often wonder if Scott has mentored Ed around needing his “one big thing” to build his brand, and while inequality is a real issue, I don’t need it shoehorned into every episode but Ed, job done, when I hear / see you now all I think is that’s the guy that complains about inequality.
“The president and the markets are the same thing” is a convenient excuse to talk politics every day instead of, you know, the markets. There’s a lot more going on in the world and in the economy than those three things and so many other podcasts we can tune into to reinforce our political opinions.
Please re-broaden the aperture. You don’t need to tie every story back to Trump, Musk, or inequality to make it land. And the episode titles have gotten so depressing too, it’s just clickbait and doom for the sake of it. We get it, Stephen Bartlett had success with these headlines but I feel like a podcast like this is better than that kind of garbage approach to attention grabbing.
I used to click this podcast first thing every day. Now I check in once a week or two hoping it’s found its way back to being a sharp, unbiased read on markets.

Ed’s pessimism will lead you to missing out
I like Ed and the show. Long time prof g listener.
Ed can be super pessimistic and seems overly bearish for a long time now and overly confident on given topics, stocks, etc and many times his predictions end up way wrong.
Yes, the show is not meant to be investing advice, etc…(all good, the lawyers have it covered). If you would have followed the show and Ed’s predictions , very strong options and market advice over the last year plus (can’t recall how long he’s been running the show) you would have lost out on tons of market gains.
I’ll still listen and will enjoy the show. Maybe a little less table thumping :)

A Longtime Listener’s Honest Feedback
Hi guys,
I’ve been a longtime listener and fan of the podcast for many years. I’ve followed Scott Galloway since reading The Four and have always appreciated the thoughtful business, investing, and economic insights that made the show so valuable.
Lately, however, it feels like the podcast has become increasingly political and, at times, more focused on criticizing certain individuals and political figures than on the business and economic analysis that originally drew me in. While I understand and appreciate healthy criticism—including of people like Elon Musk, Donald Trump, or members of the current administration—it sometimes feels as though the discussion has shifted from analyzing business decisions and policies to criticizing the individuals themselves.
For example, while I may agree that some ideas, such as discussions around a potential SpaceX IPO, deserve scrutiny, the commentary can occasionally come across as personal rather than focused on the underlying business issues.
I’m leaving this feedback because I genuinely enjoy the podcast and want to continue listening. My hope is that it can return more to its roots as a source of business, investing, and economic insight, and rely less on political commentary and opinion-driven discussions.
Thanks for all the great content over the years.

Too many ads
The show has become unlistenable due to the number of ads. $200 for ad free is crazy town. Used to listen daily, been enjoying other shows more. Disappointed, this used to be one of the best ones.

Shouldn’t be called “Markets”
The name “Markets” leads you to believe they will talk about stocks, business, technology, etc. But most of the show is about wealth and income inequality. The few times they even bother to talk about business. They usually just go back to wealth and income inequality. It’s the same show every week. They just find a different reason to talk about the same thing. If you want to hear a weekly Bernie Sanders rant from a bald 29 year-old this is the Podcast for you, if you’re a young professional, looking for career and financial advice, look elsewhere.

Wealth Tax episode
Jason Calacanis is a whiny baby and did nothing but complain. Zero solutions for wealth inequality. That guy was the worst and came across as out of touch and uncaring. These wealth tax discussions are needed to start the discussion about wealth inequality. This is a SERIOUS problem and I fear it will never be resolved. Wages are stagnant and prices are out of control. A sandwich costs more than 1 hour of minimum wage. We need to do something. At least the people bringing the wealth taxes to the table are trying to do something. We need to address corporate welfare. We have corporations getting tax cuts and have employees on government assistance because and this should not happen. These days feel like the most inhumane era of our country and I’m afraid we’re at the beginning. People need to care about other people.

Off putting
I think his name was Jason Calcana. He was on the latest podcast about billionaire tax and I think he made the comment that he’s funny so people like me, but I found the guy the most offputting, insecure guy on any podcast I’ve listened to, and I don’t usually don’t review, so he really set me off! Jason Calcana— or whatever your name is— if you’re running for office wherever you are, I hope you go down in flames dude!! I love Scott Galloway big-time and whoever the current host is he’s pretty cool too!
