With today's episode we discuss competition among entrepreneurs, artists, and among our individual selves. By getting in touch with your superpowers, you get to compete in unique ways by being collaborative and original.
I encourage you to make hard things feel softer by making your to-do list more fun with gamification. To me this looks like building a life modeled after a video game, with benchmarks, achievements and levels to compete with myself and consistently make improvements. I will tell you about my process to making things more fun and how this concept comes into play in my daily life.
I encourage you to toss your instruction manual to the wind and create your own rules. You're the architect of this life, you're capable of living it to your absolute fullest with honour for the what things have been built in the past AND with honour for the way you want your future to be. Creativity, artistic projects and entrepreneurship all have one thing in common: Innovation. When we innovate we're standing on the shoulders of the giants who came before us and we cannot discredit their influence on the way things have evolved to be how they are.
As creatives, we are also innovators. When we innovate, we have the opportunity to build on the way things have always been done. In doing so, we are standing on the shoulders of giants who came and innovated before us. By looking to the past, we can develop a sustainable, stable future in our infrastructure.
I hope after hearing this episode you come out the other side with a new perspective on what it means to be competitive. I hope that although competition can be intimidating, you also understand that it arms consumers with choice and that no one can do what you do with the special care and attention to detail that you have. You do it exactly in the way that special to you.
Thank you for being with me, I do hope you subscribe, and that you tune in next week when we discuss negativity and creating positive shifts in our mindset.
