April is the month, as a nation, we raise the awareness of child abuse. Last week, we talked ways to help abused children and adults molested as children as they come forward disclosing what has happened to them.
This week, our focus is to discuss how we are able to support them through our community involvement. Whether it’s your time or resources, everyone has something to offer. Getting involved in your community not only has its benefits for the victims and survivors, there are benefits for you too.
Tune into the episode as I share 10 benefits for you to get involve, 7 different ways of getting involved in your community to support these individuals, and how I serve in my community as a volunteer.
