This is my podcast where I, Audrey Lee, a self-proclaimed niche music enthusiast, talk about my favorite bands that have primarily male fanbases. In each episode, I discuss one musical artist that, multitudes of men, and presumably some girls enjoy. I’ll talk about the artist’s history and analyze their music; I’ll also draw on my personal stories about the artist and feminist readings of and takes on music to create a discussion about why women and girls are pushed on the outer fringes of niche, elitist music fandom.
