Prepping the Soul by Ron LindellBrought to you by Point the Way Ministries. Facebook group.My wife and I will periodically watch prepping videos on YouTube to hear behind the scenes news leaked from military bases and business owners.  My thought?People need to be Prepping the SoulOur whole reason here on earth is to know God through a personal relationship with Christ Jesus!Shortly after my wife and I were married I recommitted myself to God and tried to attend church every Sunday with a focus on seeking God every service.I went to church, expecting to find God, and expecting for God to change my life, and expecting God to reveal himself to me. If God was real, I wanted him to display his realness to me in a personal way. God is real! The Trinity, the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit are real, and are alive today and forever!I was a machinist and I started doing some unusual things such as singing gospel hymns at work and on breaks I would weld scrap steel together making cross necklaces.  Yes, I sang hymns and only God heard me due to the loud machine I operated.Our pastor visited our home and asked if I would go with him to visit people who attend church.  During those days God directed me to quit my long time job and go sell automobiles to earn more money to get prepared to sell everything we owned and move toward attending Bible college with a true Call from God. Interesting fact: when I applied as a car salesman, there were only two positions open, and they hired me with absolutely no sales experience. God revealed himself through blessing our finances preparing for our future at college.I would pray for God to reveal himself to me that it was really God driving me toward selling everything and moving nine hours away to attend college.My dilemma? My wife refused to go. She didn’t think l was being Called by God.  After months of praying for what to do and if my Call was in fact happening, my wife surprised me with this question: “Where is the For Sale sign which belongs in front yard? We need to sell our home to move toward college.”Praise the Lord for revealing himself to me by answering my prayers!In 1991 was a huge economy downturn in our town and homes were for sale or in foreclosure.Through prayer God brought an out of state buyer.  The buyer said when she walked into our home the Holy Spirit told her to buy our house and pay cash!  Two weeks later we were moving nine hours away to college.Praise the Lord!Throughout generations people have been wondering if God exist. Most of us have already figured out that God just doesn't walk up to us and say hey I am God and you need to live for me for the rest of your life so you can be able to inherit the kingdom of God. Each of us have our own idea on where God is located or where he comes from.t is only as God reveals himself to us that would begin to get an accurate picture of who he really is. And that revelation comes to us in three primary ways: to creation to Jesus Christ and through the Scriptures handed down throughout generations.'In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. April 1st will begin our new Podcast on Prepping the Soul . Prepping the Soul in relationship with God.Prepping the Soul will have Encouragement, Joy, Peace and Love for Others through Prayer, Biblical Studies, Group involvement, Testimonies, Prayer for Healing, Phenomenal growth in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ!Trailer includes example of TestimonyPrepping the Soul by RonPoint the Way MinistriesHere is a quick story of one of my testimonies on how God answered prayers a few years ago while we were building our garage:  That was a fun project where God provided through different suppliers and help at the right moments, which proved again the angels from God were with us the entire project. God loves to show instant results to prayer! I remember when I had all the lumber delivered and I could not lift one of the 6 x 6 x 24' post to carry it to the building site.  I went into our shop and prayed for God to help me through this building endeavor. About an hour and a half Later a man dropped off his wife at our house to work with our daughter, at that time who was being homeschooled. Ben, whom I never met before, asked if I needed help carrying a board to our future garage site? He picked up that board and carried it over to the hole and dropped it in as if it was nothing. Ben told me he had two months between jobs and he could help me build a garage at no cost.Praise the Lord!  What a great time we had!After we had the trusses delivered we had another problem and had to go to prayer. How to get the trusses on top of the walls? On a Saturday morning, a neighbor stopped by and asked how it was going with the garage. After I told him our dilemma of getting the trusses on the 12 foot walls, he went home grabbed his tractor which was bigger than mine, made a jig out of wood and lifted the trusses right up on the walls.In one day the trusses were up!Praise the Lord! God answers prayers! I have hundreds of testimonials of instant answers to prayers! We are children of the most high God!
