He has a specialist interest in adult and paediatric limb reconstruction surgery and after completing his training in Liverpool he visited units in Baltimore, USA, Cape Town, South Africa and Fukushima, Japan. Nick is the Chief Investigator for the latest NIHR trial in paediatric orthopaedic trauma: ‘ODD SOCKS’ , which will investigate the best management for distal tibial fractures in children. He is a member of the Mersey Ortho-Plastic Group in Liverpool and does his on call work at Alder Hey.
