As a nontraditional prospective part-time law student, it allows me to get exposure to different legal fields since I work full-time and don't have time to volunteer/get exposure otherwise. I am a law student exploring a career in prosecution and this is the podcast I’ve been waiting for! Nicole did a great job speaking on navigating extra layer of challenges that come with being a prosecutor who is also Black and Female. This was my first time listening to this podcast, and I will definitely check out other episodes.

This podcast takes being black and powerful to a new level! These black attorneys being interviewed AND the host are a real life representation of hard work and a motivation to keep going. At first, I was like “How many black JD stories can be that different.” Boyyyy was I dumb for that thought. None of the guests mirror each other and I have never been more inspired!

In the growing awareness of being black in society. This podcast brings to light the issues many of us face in the legal profession which is not immune to issues including diversity and race.
